I downloaded the latest update as well as the Extended Cut. Now Mass effect 3 crashes instantly on start-up. It worked before, I played the game through many times. I don't have any modifications to my coalesced file. I have Digital Deluxe version via Origin on windows 7.
 
Can somebody help me?

Update:
Tried using repair install twice - failed
Tried removing Local_Profile.sav file - failed (It worked for another thread)
Restarting computer and Origin - failed

I'm also about to talk with EA tech support (never worked before but I'll give them another shot....)

Didn't work, I also tried removing the Local_Profile.sav file (which worked for someone with a similar issue) but didn't work. Same exact problem. Endless crashing. This is ridiculus, I wait months for the extended cut and rather then enjoy Mass Effect 3 it crashes more then my Skyrim with 200+ mods...

Sorry for the double post.

I spoke with EA help support, and (for the first time they were semi-helpful)

I followed these steps and now the game only crashes every other time. (Seriously, in that order. ex. Attempt 1 - crash, attempt 2 - work, attempt 3 - crash, attempt 4 - work, I tried this 10 times out of curiosity and that's the pattern...) So I suppose this works for now, but if someone could help and make the pattern 100% working It'd be great.

Alright, sorry to triple post, but this needs a bump. This morning it began crashing endlessly again. I have no idea why. It worked last night, I went to bed and this morning it began crashing. This is crazy, please can someone help me, EA support failed.

any updates will rewrite those files again. that patch did not work for me, but good luck.
