I did a search on the forums but nothing came back so here goes.

The Blackstone Irregular quest, "Notices of Death" Will not work for me. None of the ladies take the letters and it does not leave my inventory. I seem to be the only one suffering from this bug. Can anyone help?

Yep - got this problem now. The quest has simply disappeared - not in progress or complete. Can no longer speak with the remaining 3 (since telling the one in Redcliffe). I can't believe there is no further information on the problem... it's probably quite specific??

I get this problem, two of the letters leave my inventory, but I "handed" all four letters to each of them. So I'm unable to complete the quest.

Have you tried reporting back to the Irregulars' contact anyway? Quest items often remain in your inventory, but the quest itself can still be completed.



There is a problem with one of the locations vanishing if the Back Alley Justice bug manifests itself, but that doesn't sound like what's being described here.

I have, the quest doesn't update so I doubt I'll be able to finish it until it does.

That's unfortunate. But it happens, so it's best to be as pragmatic as is possible: in fact I was surprised when my second game finished without any stuck quests in my journal!

if you missed telling the one in lothering before you leave then the quest fails

This quest doesn't have anyone in Lothering... are you referring to the "Scraping the Barrel" quest?

Unfortunately, this bug seems to be in every one of my playthroughs. Oh well.

if at any time you said that their nusband died you failed in the quest you are only suposed to hand them the note nothing more. because if you tell them.  They run away and you still have a letter and the trigger for quest compleated happens when you no longer hold any of the letters

edit  you guys on my  first playthru i ended the game with the return to arl emon  when your ready to go to denarem  still even after the last battle

This bug still exists. I tried all 3 options and the end result of every action is that the wife runs away and the quest does not update.

Yea - it's not a matter of choosing the right option - the quest is bugged. And a lot of people have it. Anyway to get around it? I'd be happy just to remove it from the quest log.



BTW, Vometia, going back to the Irregulars after you deliver all the letters doesn't work. Even though you've visited each one and informed them, the quest won't complete.
