Was just wondering for thoes that did get this achivment with what spell and class did they achive it with.

I did it with my warrior tho i had some truble achiving it with him. I had to combine Intomible with Derserking and Blood Thirst then use Perfect Striking, had Leliana cast a mark of death then hit a final Blow got 312..was actually vary pleased with the resoult

I spent an entire game as a 2H Warrior and only reached 245 damage with Final Blow. I played through Ostagar as a Rogue Archer and got the achievement at level 6 with Arrow of Slaying. Bah!

Two Handed Zerker/Champ ... 277dmg on a Final blow (if it added my 300 stamina to the normal blow dmg as described it might have been around some 350-400 dmg).. well, it was at level 19 in 1.01... let's see not at level 23 and a lot more str (86) and 1.02.

@OP - did you get yours in 1.02? Is final blow working as it should now? I haven't tried it in a while... going to shake the earth's foundation and cause a landslide right now... if you know what I mean... I might try it then! =)

@Seifz -  I know how you feel since Leliana easily goes over 500 with hers sometimes. But we can keep an amazing constant rate of critical hits that well, doing 2300 dmg when solo'ing a boss I'd say it goes a lot faster than an archer... perhaps than a dw rogue as well... it doesn't really matter... I love a good big sword... as long as it's my sword!

wowo O_o are archers really that good? i mean... 500 damage? holly ****..and here i thought Archery were pretty much useless... well atleast it seems like that on lower levels where a two handed sword easily get 50-60 damage while a dow get 20-25 damage (Ser Jory two hand i nostagar) Me, dalish elf archer, ostagar

I got the achievement on a 260 AoS with an Archery Rogue that can now hit well over 700 with AoS.

I just finished my archer playthrough and Archer Rogue gets super fun.   However, in the beginning it's rather tedious, you either shoot slowly(Aim) or shoot without crits(Rapid Shot) then there's the fact that if you want to be the locksmith in the party you need to up your cunning and not Strength to get the chests open. But... when you finally get all the Archer talents and then Lethality(I think, which uses cunning instead of strength for damage) then you can really unleash hell on everyone.
Stealthing into a room, picking your target, backing up, and Arrow of Slaying it.
Sadly I could never break 1k with my AOS

And for the subject matter:
Archer with AoS on a random Genlock in Honnleah.

Mana Clash on Hurlock Emissary in the Forest Meadow - 313 damage.

But that took away only half his health. Then Dog took over with charge and overwhelm. Sweet.

Archers are fun eventually, it just takes so bleeding long to get them set up that you're already 3/4 done with the game, especially if you go rogue and have to put points into lockpicking and such. Those AoS crits are so very sweet though. Archers are pretty much two trick ponies, one if you don't spec for scatter shot.

I hit ~350-ish with Mana Clash on a random Genlock Emissary, but my favourite was Mana Clash on the Hurlock General in the Alienage for 800+. It didn't kill him outright, but it was still fun. ^ ^

Just got my new one for the record... 310 with final blow on a hurlock in Alienage... I had got 320 but most of the party went down but my PC so I reloaded and I settled for 310. (again, no mages for me). Guess it's ok for a 2 hander since my hits are around 100 and crits as high as 190... and a whole lot of crits too...

Edit: While it really doesn't matter that much, I still don't get the final blow calculation... 355 stamina, less 20 from zerker, less 7 for Final Blow...  that's 328 left to connect and add EXTRA damage to the normal blow damage, as far as I can understand of the talent description...

every 2 points of left over stamina = 1 point of damage. it seems about right.

340 with my 2hander, using final blow against a rage demon in the alienage, i had the ability for ages, never bothered using it until then, since then i get on average around 300dmg from final blow, morrigan got 1783 with mana clash, hope to top that with my mage
