So I've seen that many have been able to get TIM to kill himself in his final scene with Shep and Anderson, by passing all 3 morality checks (blue/red dialogue choices). I thought this was doable simply by having reputation maxed out, but in the past 2 and a half playthroughs (the first, an import from ME1/2, and the second a NG+ of that as well as a 3rd partial playthru of the end with the EC, starting from before Cerberus HQ in my last NG+) the first 2 morality checks are open for me, but the 3rd one is greyed out. Thus, I have not been able to get TIM to shoot himself, and had to do the chore myself
Seems that it's not simply a matter of maxed out reputation, because in all situations so far, I've had the rep bar completely full - from what I remember, even before starting Cerberus HQ (at least in the latter 2 out of the 3 playthrus). You do gain a ton more reputation from Cerebrus HQ onward too, but I don't think reputation is "locked in" like EMS/TMS at that point, since rep points pop up as you play on.
Can anyone tell me what the requirements are for TIM's suicide? I'm wondering if maybe it's that you had to give him the Collectore Base in ME2 (this career destroyed the base in ME2)? Or perhaps EMS/TMS is in fact tied into it. The original NG+ I played was at around 63% galactic readiness, so if that's the case I would obviously need more. Or maybe there needs to be a different ratio of paragon and renegade in your rep bar than what I have (mostly paragon in all cases with a little renegade)?
Any tips?
