To the folks at Bioware:

Although I enjoyed your original endings, and respected the subtleties with which you delivered the finale, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the new Extended Cut.  I know the difficulty your writers endure while trying to find the balance between artistic integrity and the need to give audiences (players) some positive closure.  Shepard was a character that many of us had grown attached to, and I admit it was nice to see endings where we see his memory being preserved.

Congratulations on creating an emotional and informative add-on to the game that originally shipped.  I do believe it's a stronger story now, mostly because of some well-chosen imagery that accompanies the new writing.  I have enjoyed this game franchise more than just about any other on our current-gen systems. 

Despite all the lunacy that arose from this controversy, I believe that the Mass Effect trilogy is assured a place in the canon of game masterpieces.  I, for one, feel priveledged to have put so much time into it.
