I'm with you on this one.  The only thing worse then Sebastian was anders.  And I want my dog back please!

I haven't had the chance to meet Sebastian, I don't have any of the DLC's for DA2 except for Black Emporium, which came with the game. I've seen some of the videos of Sebastian on YouTube. He seems almost like another Anders. He just appears to be the reverse.

I hope no former companions are still companions in DA3. I mean,I love them all,but come on...

As for cameos: I hope that Morrigan shows up,at least in some kind of flashback. Sten would have been a good choice in DA2 but I would only like to see him in DA3 if it makes actual sense for him to be there (so it really depends where DA3 takes us). Also back-to-being-a-dwarf!Shale could be potentially interesting.
As for DA2 companions: they have either been in two DA games by now,or their stories seem finished (or they are dead). Maybe a Fenris cameo...but the only one I'd really want to make a cameo would be Varric,he can give you 'updates' as to what Hawke's companions are up to,and he survives no matter what...

Who I fear will be a companion/or at the very least have a LONG cameo are Leliana and Tallis.
Both characters scream fanservice (especially Tallis) and seem to be really liked by the writing team. Tallis might have been nice for a DLC but god,please no more. And Leliana showed up in two DLCs and the game itself. I think I've seen enough of her now,thank you.

Companions in general? I'd love to have a Qunari mage. I think this could be really interesting,especially since a lot has changed in the way Qunari are portrayed since DA:O...
And if we have to bring anyone back, I'd like to see Finn from the Witchhunt DLC (or even Finn&Ariane) -his approach to the circle was different than Wynne's "I can go whenever I want so I don't care" and Anders "hate,hate,double hate,loathe entirely" and it might also be interesting how he'd react now that the circles are falling apart....

I just want the romance to be completely nonexistant or very vague (like Zevran offering massage) if the player doesn't flirt first. Leliana was wonderfully done I thought. I completely disagree.

• Zevran's same-sex romance was impossible to miss because he constantly asks you whether you are sure,you can constantly ask for clarification what he means etc.
• Meanwhile,talking to Leliana about shoes already means you are romancing her. Male or female character. You may not get the sex-scene unless you pick the flirty responses but that doesn't mean she won't be heartbroken if you end up marrying Anora or Alistair and talk to you about her feelings and what you shared and what not. You might even have your LI have you choose between them and Leliana.
• You couldn't be more wrong about the Anders thing. Yes, if you are on the friendship path there's one early conversation where he informs you he's interested in you and your only options are flirty heart responses or the broken heart. Yes you do get rivalry points for the broken heart response because of you being rude. BUT you can pick between flirt responses who basically say you feel the same way or the ambiguous 'whoa didn't expect this'. NEITHER ONE OF THOSE RESPONSES HAS YOU IN ANY WAY LOCKED INTO THE ROMANCE. It means Anders will harbour a little crush on you for the duration of the game. (The same way flirting with Isabela means she's willing to jump your bones.) It means you CAN IF YOU WANT TO invite him to spend the night. HE WILL NEVER BRING IT UP HIMSELF. And if you miss that chance it's impossible to romance him.

To be fair, Anders gets a crush on you pretty much if you just talk to him. Even if you bed Isabella AND Fenris, he will still take you. The guy is mad about you 

But ya, you can ignore his crush and he won't hate you. I always end up with him but picked Fenris in one of my PTs and he was fine with it. Just called Fenris a mad dog but that is jealousy for ya

I don't remember if she had a name or not, but I want the mage in the Mage Origin story, that hated the fact she was a mage and prayed everyday. If not her, then a character like her, a character that has a power that she hates and thus lashes out on others who have that same power before she dies. Basically Fenris if he was a mage.

I hope that DA 3 has at least one female companion like Aveline. I liked that she was not the conventional female companion. She was very physical and strong. I used her as my tank for all my playthroughs.  One type of companion that i hope not to see is another companion as boring as Wynne. She added very little to the story.

Personally, I'd love to see a female Tal-Vashoth Kossith (Qunari ''heretic'') mercenary, such a character could provide the player with lots of interesting first hand information about the Qunari people, their beliefs, lifestyle and a personal story why she rejected the Qun. Maybe make her even a LI?
The potential of such a character is almost limitless, there are so many different ways to make this a fun fun companion...

All new characters please. ALL NEW! I don't want to see a single familiar face in the entire game. I'd really like to see a Qunari (Full blown Qunari, with the horns) companion.

I'd REALLY like to see a female Qunari (again, with the horns) companion/LI.

The more exotic the companions the better.

I'd like to see more elves both male and female. I'd like to see a few more characters that are with you/interact with you throughout the game but aren't necessarily battle companions.

I really like to see more customization with the companions. If you aren't gonna let us gear them ourselves, at least let me customize their appearance a little. More then two outfits per character please...

I think itd be cool to have several of the companions come back from DAO and DA2, varric, morrigan, definatly oghren, leliana, maybe not be able to PLAY as them all....but at least put them in the game, maybe a side quest involving them

I would love to see Morrigan come back as companion, and Cullen. Plus some new refreshing faces.

 I haven't played Dragon age 2 yet so I sort of write this in ignorance (But don't blame me I'm not even sure if I should) . Who I would like to see return is as following

Warrior:
Ariane (from Witch Hunt Dlc)
Warden 
Shale 

Rogue
Warden 

Mage 
Finn (from Witch Hunt Dlc)
Warden 

The Witch Hunt characters should count as new because we know almost nothing about them other than Ariane is the second best Warrior in her Dalish Clan and Finn is the Circles Linguist. Also I would like to see more of the Warden even if he/she is not a companion.

Bioware should follow their Baldur's Gate roots.

They had like 20 companions in the first oen and like 15 in the second.
In dragon age it's very limited.

They should have a lot of allies (around 12 sounds fair) to take whenever and if possible maybe even creating parties of 6.
Hopefully with interjections, evil companions. in-party fighting, etc.
