You fail to grasp the obvious. IT isn't just an set of evidence or the people behind it. Indoctrination Theory is an idea; that idea is not so easily destroyed. No it won't. The EC took a huge dump on IT and flushed it down the toilet, yet people still don't let it go. It's moronic.

Blame Bioware. They didn't definitively kill it enough with the EC, so it continues to exist.
They definitely gave it a headshot, but they didn't double tap.

IT was a fantastic theory to cover some of the plot-holes, but once they've been covered by other means, it loses its value. It's barely believable now, if at all.

In the destroy ending the Shepard lives scene even takes place after all the extra ending slides. This means that it is still possible that everything we see before that is part of the hallucination and that is when Shepard wakes up and lives to fight another day, just like in pre-EC IT.
So stop saying that IT is dead. EC didn't confirm it one way or the other, just like Bioware said it wouldn't. Both IT and a literal interpretation are viable interpretations.

1. The dreams are still the same, with the affects of indoctriation still there. Why do everytime i get close to the boy he runs off and i hear reaper growls or sounds that reapers make.
2. The three beams that changes reapers are still there and if you look at the galaxy map and the three endings both ec and not ec still show it but its not the local cluster where the choices were made.
3. Why is Sheperd waking up if he is already dead. Also why does destroy ending the only ending that shepard lives.
4. Why does the camera still show the gun shot he got just seconds after anderson dies.

Another plot-hole, in my opinion. There was never any evidence that Cerberus had found technology to control unindoctrinated people. Sanctuary was about learning the radio signals to take over Reaper/Husk communications. It doesn't apply to normal people.

Always double tap... or use a shotgun...sometimes doulbe tap with a shotgun.
Did not Bioware learn anything from Benny in Fallout: New Vegas... He should have double tapped.

Can you answer my question? Are you seriously expecting bioware to release another dlc to change the ending to IT? If not, then what the hell is the goddamn point in looking for "evidence?"

I've impaled this theory with a wooden stake through the heart!
I've lit it on fire!
I've shotgunned it to the face!
I've sniped it from afar when it was unsuspecting!
I've poured salt around it in hopes that it would be trapped!
I've blown it to pieces with plastic explosives!
I've smashed it with a sledgehammer!
I even went as far as to bathe it in acid!
Why doesn't this abomination die?! Is it more powerful than any paranormal entity we have ever faced? Are we facing our own doom?!
ITS TOO STRONG!!!

Very interesting point!XxDarkTimexX wrote...
yes i saw it but it still doesn't answer why at the end of the EC ending they show shepard waking up, if i were to put that in real time that would be 1-9 months before he woke up that still doesn't make sense that he wakes up after, between1 month to 9 months he wakes up again. WHAT!!!!

Well, no idea gets destroyed. The idea that the earth is flat is still just an idea, and you can't destroy an idea. The discarding of IT then isn't dependant on 'destroying' it in some way; it's that the evidence suggests that it's most unlikely to be true. Thus, the idea that an idea is not so easily destroyed is somehow a proof of its' veracity can be seen to be false.

Why does everyone keep going on about how obvious it is that IT is dead? It's not. Some things that were used as part of IT have been explained in a literal way (crew on Normandy), but most points still stand. The extended endings could just be an extended hallucination by Shepard.
In the destroy ending the Shepard lives scene even takes place after all the extra ending slides. This means that it is still possible that everything we see before that is part of the hallucination and that is when Shepard wakes up and lives to fight another day, just like in pre-EC IT.

People are saying IT is dead because it is in fact dead. BioWare just doesn't want to have another PR disaster by breaking some hearts. BioWare does not have a canon ending for ME3. All 4 major endings are 100% real endings that are all equally important. By saying IT is real, you are negating the people who want control or synthesis. BioWare will not support that. All endings were given equal time on the EC.

The problem with conspiracy theories is that either they say "there is no conspiracy" or "there is a conspiracy" -> they both mean that there is a conspiracy, for the believers.
