It's amazing how such a bad ending can be explaied and now feel like a good ending. With the ending not being terrible I think it's time to give ME series it's props as one of the greats in recent gaming history.
ME3 again in the running for game of the year.

Nope. Still feels like a bad ending especially when one ending is now hilariously grotesque rather than morally/ethically bad.

Yea i'd vote for it Game of the year
I enjoyed it more than skyrim and batman arkham city. For my year it comes down to Mass effect 3 vs Witcher 2.

....Skyrim didn't come out this year and Arkham Asylum most certainly didn't. Neither did The Witcher 2.

The major problems with the endings have largely been fixed and in a timely manner all things considered.
Some people will never be satisfied. Too bad for them.
It deserves game of the year consideration if not more imo.

The ending is still terrible. The EC just added a few still images at the end, and more plot holes. Besides ME3 has a lot more problems than just the ending.

I played the beta, which isn't much, but D3 felt like scaled down WoW+ gauntlet legends.

yea...its been quieter than the mass effect outcry, but they have had their own issues.

Diablo 3 has a new fiasco every week that is up there with the original ME3 ending.

Diablo 3 was flawed but not an absolutely cluster f*** like this game was.
Also we're only halfway through the year. We still have Assassin's Creed 3, Black Ops 2 and Guild Wars 2. One of those will almost definitely get it.

It's definitely in the running for me.
The only other games I've played through this year though (that were actually released this year) are Xenoblade and Silent Hill: Downpour. I still need to get to Tales of Graces F and the 360 version of The Witcher 2. I don't see anything else being in the running.
