And I think it would even deserve winning, People on here make too big a deal of the EMS and tri colored endings and you know yes I'd love to have more of a say in it, but its not all that terrible when you sit back and think " its all a game, and it really was an enjoyable experience." Having played ME 1 10 times, ME 2 14 times and ME 3 3 times, I've put a lot of time in, and I feel like I haven't been cheated. Free DLC, developers caring enough to even change the ending for us, tighter controlers and combat than ever, better graphics, excellent voice acting, the return of a ton of great characters and a story that with ending aside isn't half bad? Count my vote for best game.
ME3 again in the running for game of the year.

ME3 was a great game but the ending let it down if they added the ec to the original plot not so many people would hate it

It doesn't deserve it. Even if the ending was perfect it still doesn't deserve it. The game is way too short, linear, crappy journal system, other small stuff and last, but certainly not least, the sales numbers.

I'd definitely nominate/vote for Mass Effect 3 as game of the year. The Extended Cut severely improved the ending(s) and no longer negates the rest of the ingame story efforts and events. Plus it is a very solid game, with fun gameplay, great graphics and audio.
