Galactic Readiness drop rate increased?

I've just gone from 100% to 96% in less than 22 hours.  I thought it was supposed to be 2.5% or so, but this is looking like it'll probably be 5%.  I finished the mission that got me to 100% around 6:00pm CDT yesterday, and it is now 3:47pm CDT.  Honestly, that's just too extreme of a drop rate.  

I've really come to enjoy the MP part of ME3, which surprised me since I typically hate MP games and was initially upset about having to do it for SP to be complete.  As I said, though, I've really come to enjoy it.  But this drop rate is just too excessive.

If it holds at 5% per 24 hours, that's 35% in a week.  Averaging 3% per complete mission, we're looking at at least 11 missions per week mandatory to keep my readiness at 100% in single player.  Figure 20 minutes per mission... 220 minutes.  That's almost 4 hours of required MP time if I want to keep SP complete.  Now I've come to like MP, but I don't really care for having to sustain 4 hours of MP each week because it was mandated that we have to play it for a complete SP experience.

Please, lower the rate at which galactic readiness drops.
