In The Control and Destroy endings where you see Kasumi? You clearly see the greybox itself.

Where is it in the screenshot? I don't see it. And you need the greybox for the hologram.

Heck, Kasumi's holding hands with the hologram in that screenshot...

She did that in ME2 though. But she was clearly wearing a holographic interface/the greybox was in clear view.

I don't think that's Keiji being revived because of synthesis.. I think Kasumi just reached a new level of interaction with her memories of him because she's synthetic now and doesn't need that box or something.

It doesn't, but their whole point was to push Syntehsis as the 'best' decision, the thing that gives everyone potential and a real future.
