Yes he is synthetic, but the synthesis ending goes both ways. Organic become more synthetic and syntheric become more organic. They become hybrids of each other sort of speak.

And no, I don't hate Kasumi, I just think the ability of Synthesis to bring people back from the dead is stupid and yet another attempt to force this choice down our throats as the "best" ending, even if Bioware won't admit it out loud. Just reinforces my belief that Bioware's storytelling abilities can no longer be trusted.

Synthesis haters hating the Synthesis ending - not a single F was given.
Keiji wasn't 'back form the dead'. His memories probably collessed into an AI thanks to his Greybox info, and that was enough for Katsumi.

You can debate as to what composes someones identity and 'true self' all you like with that picture. What is relevant is that Katsumi is happy with the construct that came out of Keiji's greybox thanks to Synthisis. Who really cares about space magic in a Space Opera, really?

Please stop pretending this is Hard Science Fiction, the way Mass Effect fields and Biotics in this game were utalized is as much space magic as anything else in this game.

And for the love of god, someone please upload this slide! Dying to see it, not willing to actually go do the Synthesis ending myself.

I saw Kasumi alive looking at a datapad in the destroy ending. Keji was not alive, but I didn't save the greybox either.
