An MMO is still an MMO, regardless of camera perspective. I'm not interested in an MMO.
If they're not making an MMO, it means they may be making a game that I could actually end up purchasing.

Please god don't let them make ME-O I don't want to have to play 300+ hours of game play to get all the stories done like SWtOR it was a good game but the shear size of it and the inability to hop on for just 15 minutes or finish a quest without every party member trying to tell me how to play my bounty hunter yelling at me to heal when I had no healing and the like... plus no pause Made it kinda suck. I just couldn't take it any more when I went month, due to work, without playing it and still had to pay. ME should stay single player though I would support optional campaign co-op.

It would be a tough thing to get right, but if they did? I would love an ME MMO.

As a huge MMO player, I really hope they don't make an ME MMO. Much prefer the world as a single player experience.

I seem to be in the minority of people who would love an MMO.

If they don't do an MMO? Then despite what ME3 turned out to be, the universe can still be salvaged.
For once, and I cannot believe I'm typing this, I'm happy EA is in charge there since they will never build 2 MMOs of their own to compete with eachother.

I would never want a ME MMO.
Sure you can see how it is possible to have one cause of lore and the size etc, but I couldn't be bothered.
I want a personal story I play through.
Just look at SWTOR, ironically I bet that Bioware and EA would make a TON of money if they would have just made a KOTOR 3 instead with a possible sequel after that.
It wouldn't have cost EA $200 million dollars to make it and then have it fail, like SWTOR is starting to fail and in less than 6 months it's talk about going free to play.
So for $50 million or less they could've made KOTOR 3 and possibly sold 10 million copies, I know sounds like a lot but just look at Diablo 3 on PC alone has sold 7-8 million copies, there are a TON of fans wanting KOTOR.
All they had to do to attract "casual" players is remove the turn based type combat and voila instant cash cow.
ME has been successful monetary wise, I'd imagine a new trilogy set in ME universe but far into the future from this ME trilogy would be best. A fresh story and they can change things up, new weapons, armor, no more citadel and the structure in the galaxy could have changed some.
Also bring in a new threat, perhaps one from outside out galaxy, or an internal galactic war and cold war type deal.
I love the ME games, but MMO is not my thing, and a prequel is daft in the sense we all know how it would end.
Even 10 million years earlies we know how it ends, and do people want to play as a strange alien race?Perhaps.
But the defeatist feeling knowing the cycle will always win and you always lose, that is until Sheapard wins the day is just boring.
A first contact war game is even worse, what is the point when we know how it happened and how it ended.

They should just make a new trilogy in the next hardware generation, keep it safe. Im just not into MMOs, so I can only hope ME4 is a traditional ME game

If they choose to do MMO, i would like to see it looks like EVE Online. That's only one MMO that i enjoy to play.
More exploring, less action. But this ain't going to happen((
somehow story=action- not exploring

Personally, I hate MMO's. While the idea for one is sound, WoW kind of ruined all MMO's for me. I am no tinterested in a ME type of MMO.
I like ME3 the way it is - and I like the genre - they should not change that.

I've grown REALLY tired of MMO's, and feel it wouldn't do the Mass Efffect series justice in any way, EVER. MMO's would simply be too restrictive, you just can't "live" in an MMO world without suffering a LOT of restrictions. Restrictions that a Mass Effect MMO simply shouldn't have: level restrictions, a limited amount of gear (including the mandatory gear grind), limited story and personalization. I must say, Bioware did pretty well with the personal story in SW:TOR, but it's simply way too finite to hold my attention any longer, and I really don't give a chips about raiding or PvP or whatnot, just like I wouldn't read the last chapter of a book 50 times over, unless it happens to be a good book which I read 50 times over in its entirety.
So as far as I care, Bioware simply shouldn't even bother with a Mass Effect MMO. Mass Effect SP games will always peak my interrest, but there's no way I'll ever bother with another MMO.

Im really glad to see people are against an MMO. I've become really tired of all the f2p and mmo games coming out these days. If Mass Effect or even Dragon Age, one of the last great story-driven games became mmo/f2p it would simply be too much.

A ME MMO will have a faster drop in subs than TOR currently has going.

Please no MMO. What's wrong with dedicated single player games? Bioware used to make really awesome single player games.

Look at it this way... unless you're a company that can somehow miraculously figure out how WoW continues to be the king of MMO's, you title is going to die sooner than later.
The benefit to SP/Non-Server based MP games is that they can live as long as you own it and the system it runs on. Which means your $60 value only increases the longer you own and play it.
An MMO whether it be subscription based or Free 2 Play has a guaranteed end of life. As soon as it's no longer making enough profits, the servers get shut down. If the game isn't ridiculously popular like WoW (don't personally like it) then you're going to be lucky if you get 5 years out of the title before the server resources are applied to something else.
Sure MMO's offer more social interaction, but they also take away a lot of what makes a game series personal to the player too. Often forcing you into groups to be able to complete lengthy quests/missions with no save point to pick up from if you suddenly have to stop for any reason. Make it worse... are those who are constantly trying to exploit players, selling goods at crazy prices or taking a greed stance and trying to claim everything for themselves. The reward factor of an MMO just doesn't last, nor is it as satisfying. A persistent world can't truly have a decent end story, it's persistent, so it never ends.

In my opinion, I want a UT style shooter that WAS going to be the ME3 multi-player.

If they don't do an MMO? I might actually continue w/ this franchise. Unfortunately the hints indicate they are hell bent on making an ME MMO and I didn't like TOR.
