People not so different from spirits

Let's assume that Maker made the fade and Thedas. He made spirits and they lacked purpose, so he made people, but the purpose is still not there. The only difference is that people unlike spirits have a program that their nature calls them to obide ( might be a maker given program, still not theirs ), and that they are not immortal like spirits.
So people are just born, and most everything they do is to survive and reproduce. They fight for land, for food, they love to marry and marry to have kids ( some skip this of course ), and then they die. Only thing that people can do besides survival and reproduction is go into phylosophy, but that is the same thing spirits do - think about the meaning of life when there is really non there. Spirits don't have a meaning and search for it in the human world, try to find it in peoples survival and reproduction and everything that they do that is involved with that.
I mean what would people do if they never needed shelter, never needed food, never needed to sleep, would be immortal and would never reproduce? What would they live for? What would they fight for? They would be just like spirits, empty and wondering of what, why and what for.
So people are not really that different from spirits are they? Just preprogrammed and finite.
Thoughts?

Spirits all have ideals they aspire to fulfill. They have purpose, unlike mortals. They're pretty simplistic.

It wasn't purpose that the spirits lacked, it was imagination. They can never create anything of their own; they can only imitate.
People can't do that either, they can just move the "blocks" around. It's not like people can create new emotions, dream up new sounds that they have never heard or dream up a color that is not a part of RGB spectrum. In other words they live in what maker gave them, a set reality. Spirits look to that reality in search of a purpose that wasn't given them.
Wat can one really create when one has saw/heard/felt nothing? When they live in emptiness like the spirits do.

But if I have a set of Lego blocks, I can put them together to make a castle or a spaceship. A spirit can only do that by watching me do it, and even then, his creation will usually just be a poor imitation. Otherwise, all he can do with a pile of Lego blocks … is to create another pile of Lego blocks out of the raw stuff of the Fade.
Not exactly, when spirits ( or demons, as spirits don't usually do that ) possess people they come into "this" world and start to experience it, and they have pretty good imagination. I mean they don't just sit there in the corner, the possessed human starts to do all sorts of things. Like say Connor for example, it wasn't the boys idea to make Teegan dance right? Or that cat demon that want's to possess the girl, she acts not like the girl but as she sees fit and the dad get's a little disturbed.
So again the point is just - spirits in the fade don't have any lego, so they can't do anything with them. They don't understand how the lego works, they don't understand physics and how the lego feels, of course they can only copy you.

Another abomination, Evelina, was still driven to protect her children. But she was willing to conquer all of Kirkwall to make it a haven for her orphans.
It's more that the demon takes the host's desires and twists them to suit its own purposes.

in Islam, spirits/demons are what we called as Jinns, they live in their own realm, not physical realm like us. Some Jinns do the evil bidding of Iblis (Lucifer Christian called it) and become Syaithan (Satan). Some are good Jinns that not under the Iblis
Jinns are not so different with human, they have their own civilization, social, class, politic...in their own realm. Jinn also have belief system similar to human, there are Islam Jinn, Christian Jinns, pagan Jinns, atheist Jinns ect...Jinns also have their own races based on where they live...there are European Jinn, Arabic Jinn, Asian Jinns ect...
Some Jinns do possessed human by the order of Iblis or witches/mages. these syaithan just want to bring suffering to human because of their jealousy. Some Jinns working with witches and magician
The word "Satan" in English is actually comes from Arab "Syaithan", there is no such thing in Greek-Roman word.

However, the Maker gave the Second Children a world and little else. Everything from that point was the creation of their own makings. However, they squandered their free will, self-motivation and creativity on terrible things, and once again, the Maker, disappointed, turned from them as well. (This story continues on with Andraste and such, but there are threads for that.)
Jealous Fade Spirits (Demons) desire to retake their favor with the Maker.
Again, according to the Chant.
By my observation through the stories, the Fade Spirits either pity the living or seemingly hate the living. Whether or not the Demons want to retake their "rightful place" in the Maker's approval is unknown to me. I have doubts because their motives seem more akin to wanting to live in the world that the Maker gave to the Second Children instead of impressing the Maker.
If the Fade Spirits learned these feelings from something else, they must have come from the living. Otherwise, it gives evidence to their own invention.
To that end, some say that the Fade Spirits are drawn to such aspects of the living psychology, and others say that the Fade Spirits are responsible for influencing such aspects of the living psychology.
From what I've seen in the stories, I cannot decide which is correct.
However, I find it difficult to deny that the desire to live in the Second Children's world (for whatever reason) is something new that the Maker didn't tell them. Their interference requires a certain level of adaptability to think of new ways to appeal to the Second Children's desires as everyone is different, even though each Spirit's own aspect seem to truly be drawn to specific characteristics that match their forté. Sharing an aspect to the living's desires isn't enough. They must be able to confuse and create all kinds of loopholes dependent in the individual and the specific situation that the individual does not expect.
