I'm content with the new endings. Played the new fourth ending and the new "red" ending. I'd give it an 9/10. The old was something like 2/10 because it was so rushed and messy. EC at least gave me closure.
Ending before and now: on a scale of 1-10

Before - 4
After - 7
There was never going to be a completely happy ending, the first two games showed us that. It would have been out of character for the end to be cigars and fireworks.

original 2/10 (I give it a two because of how lulzy bad it was)
EC 3/10 it still sucks balls and doesn't make any sense. and shepard still gets treated like a piece of ****

It was basically one huge "wtf" moment. It left gaping plotholes, more questions than answers and left players with the very logical assumption their choices and dedication to the series had been for nothing. I don't think there has ever been a less anti-climatic ending in video-game history for me.Original: 1/10
Firstly it's much better. But to be fair I always felt making it worse was almost impossible. The EC made the three choices more unique, better defined and added the option to reject them outright. I still dislike the concept of introducing the Catalyst so late in the game aswell as his inexpicable appearance as the kid we we're all supposed to care about but they at least gave him a little more substance. Synthesis still has all the issues that wouldn't have me choose it but I'll admit the ending for it is interesting viewing despite the unfortunate implications of things like self-aware husks. Destroy is still my favourite and IMO the most improved but surprisingly control was much better this time around too. The notion of an immortal Shep policing the galaxy was as scary as it was badass.Extended Cut: 6.5/10
Overall it was better but unsurprisingly held back from greatness by the problems that plagued it first time around. The last minute introduction of the Catalyst. The form he takes and the presenation of the choices still remain. So that hurts the overall experience. Also I wish the slides wuld have been cutscenes of equal length but better than nothing. If this had been the original ending, I would have had issues but probably would have viewed it more positively.

Orig.: 2 - their intentions were plain but the execution and logic stunk
EC: 7 - Good refuse speech; destroy and control made perfect sense, synthesis was a big happy ending if still poorly exposited for being what it is [I think Legion's sacrifice is supposed to be a complementary foreshadowing of how a hero offs himself for the advancement of the species and spreads his "essence"; it just makes little sense as Geth are software and organics aren't]
I still don't get why ME3 shifted into the Red Badge of Courage from a big sprawling space opera but oh well.

Orignal ending: 2/10
There was only 1 ending before so I only grade it as one ending
EC Destroy ending: 7/10
Sacrificing the geth and EDI is out of the question for my Shepard, it puts the galaxy back to how it was before, conflict is bound to resurface and peace will not last.
EC Control Ending: 8/10
Though peace is achieved, the fact that Shepard controls such power, may lead to unforseen consequences, such as cults worshiping the reapers as gods etc etc. Peace will last longer, but is it out of fear of the reaper guardians, ilogical hate will still remain but suppressed by fear of a more powerfull foe, when the rest of the races reach the same technological power of the reapers, who knows what might happen.
EC Refusal ending: 6/10
Even though I like that they included this ending, since I expected something about the thing Liara made to be in one of the endings, but morally, it is just wrong to choose this if the option to save so many lives is present, not matter what ethical issues the other endings brings up, life is to precious to just throw away because of ideals.
EC Synthesis ending: 9/10
I do not fear change as many do, and it is the only ending that resolves the conflict truly, and it grants the races and people of the galaxy an understanding of eachother, it is the only ending I think peace will really last. And I just like the concept, it is interesting as I don't really know the possibilities of what the change in DNA really grants us. It is as EDI said, beyond our imagination.
And from what I have seen, it is the one with the best epilouge so, to me it is the best ending. Yes it is a bit space magic, but I love Star Wars, so that is ok with me
All the new endings have ethical and moral dilemas tied to them, and I really like that.
ME3 gets a 8.8/10 from me now, the whole series is a 10/10, because there are no other series like it that I can compare to. The endings are not perfect, I wish I could see more war assets and I also don't like it when they introduce a new character at the very end. But it is satisfying enough. And compared to most games that are released it is a far superior game than most.

I actually liked the obscurity and loose ends of the original ending: 7/10.
The added scenes were well done, but seemed to be a bit of revisionist history: 6/10.
Setting aside IT, I still do not feel satisfied that the "Paragon" choice (control) was exactly what TIM wanted to do and that the middle compromise (synthesize) was exactly what Saren wanted to do.

I would give the Original ending a 2/10
A 1/10 would have been not having an ending at all, so have to give Bioware credti for atleast having an ending.
The EC I would give a 5/10
The game went from Infamously bad to completely forgettable, making the game itself completely forgettable. So that is sort of an improvement.

Originally, maybe a 0 for being a giant non-sequitor travesty. Now, maybe a 4-5 for being less of a travesty but more derivative.

Original - 2/10, maybe 1.5/10. The music was... nice. And that's about all that was good about it, really.
The EC's like a 5.5 or a 6 out of 10. Since it's still working with the original endings it would never be great for me, but at least I'm satisfied.

to me, there's no screaming difference. knowing that "the galaxy rebuilt" didn't address the fundamental issues that were initially there. we knew there would be subsequent mass effect games, so the idea of the galaxy being "ok" was more than implied. but whatever happened to the actual story line we've all been engaged in? that never changed.
so, for the few good things with the original and EC ending (namely the music, sfx, and jennifer hale) it gets a 4 from me.

The 'destroy' ending gets a 7. The other two get a 4, because whilst they're better than before they're still completely absurd

I'll give the destroy ending in the extended cut a 9 out of 10 since there's most likely going to be a reunion with you LI if you got the best possible ending.
