Synthesis then- 1/10 Synthesis now 4/10 at least there are cut scenes and epilouge)
Destroy then- 5/10 Destroy now 7/10 (it offers the best hope for a possible reunion with your sqaude and LI but apparently you have to imagine it....come on really?!
Reject then- wanted Reject now 5/10 why? though I like the fact that there is an option for an all out reaper win having no option for an all out organic win (at minimum reuniting with your LI and sqaud and 'm sorry I shouldn't have to imagine that!) bring my rating down on this.....no balance! but would/could get a 10/10 if the option is there for a happy ending

Funny enough, i would have given the ending a 9.5 if that's what CAME with the game, but after coming to believe that IT might be the answer, I was a wee bit let down about the endings being true and Bioware dropping the ball the first time THAT bad.

The Ending Content solved none of the major problems I had with the ending, and the few minor problems it did solve it did mostly through blatant retcons or handwaving.
Still, the Refuse ending made me proud to be Shepard again, with his speech to the Starchild, and I gotta give them some credit for trying.

Yet we don't know if they'll start rebuilding the citadel first when most of their own homeworlds are in ruin. I'm pretty damn sure if i was in that situation i'd prefer to rebuild my own world rather than a magical castle in the sky.corkey sweet wrote...

5/10 For Destroy.
They didn't expand upon the cliffhanger at the end in which Shepard breaths a single breath and we pretty much got told by Jessica Merizan on twitter to use our imagination. I found control to be a lot better and synthesis left me on the fence over it i don't hate it nor love it.
they said the Citadel would be re-built, so obviously (with the destroy ending) they will find shepard on the citadel alive
They left it on a cliffhanger if they had expanded on it showing a rescue team recovering shepard then it would of been less cliffhangery and more acceptable, being told to " use my imagination " is stupid at best. This is a company that prides itself on being a RPG game developer and their community manager comes out with that?
As it stands coming out with stuff like what you said isn't exactly accurate it's an assumption and assumptions are the mother of all **** ups they should of expanded upon it and they didn't. Maybe your standards are that low that you'll accept some slideshow with a hackett voice over but i won't.

That's because according to Jessica Merizan it should be obvious and we should use our imaginations >_>Soul Spector wrote...
eh there are still plot holes, and I still feel I didn't get the happy ending where shep reunites with the crew.

AFTER EC I give it a 5. The writers have done a good job sorting out and organizing the garbage, but they were still restrained to work with the original garbage.
Good news is if they can do such improvements to a seemly un-salvageable stuff, Bioware still have hope. Only that without Gamble, Walters and Hudson screwing stuff around. They really destroyed Mass Effect.

Post-Extended Cut I give, 8 to Destroy, 8.5 to Control, to 7 Synthesis, 6 and to Refuse.
I personally am very pleased with the Extended Cut, even if there are still a couple of issues. Overall this is what I had been expecting from the endings originally.

EC: 4.5
The EC doesn't give me The sense of accomplishment that tunchunka or rannoch did, but at least some of the plot holes were explained and the relays were reconned. Maybe it's my fault for comparing it to parts of the game that were in my opinion very well done.

EC: I can go as high as 6/10, I chose destroy.
There's still stuff that doesn't make sense, but I had low expectations going in and that was the best they could do without completely redoing the ending. It was enough for me, but the ending still isn't great.
