Ending before and now: on a scale of 1-10

After: 8/10
Literally, the only thing missing for me was the reunion with the crew/LI and maybe a little more ingame cutscenes instead of a slideshow. I would have preferred to wait a little longer for a suicide-mission style Earth-chapter, but I surely have something solid now to base my thoughts upon. The slight changes and larger rearrangements of the soundtrack were awesome as well.
Oh, and the endings can be called endingSSSS now imho. The differences are much more noticeable and I don't feel cheated anymore somehow if I make a different choice.

3-4/10 after.

After EC: 9/10 More details as to what the catalyst actually is and what effect your decisions will have on the people of the galaxy. But I still think the catalyst logic is still somewhat flawed but at the same time that is what makes it more interesting for me.

Well, it is cute and all, but godchild stays so is the flawed logic:

So no, I'm not happy at all.
It's not flawed logic, it's the same logic as in the day the earth stood still (2008 version), where they exterminate humans to save the planet.
Anyway, I'd give the endings 5 before, 9 now.

There are breaks in continuity, holes in logic, and most importantly it's still a "pick one of these universal endings" scenario, but the endings themselves are now fairly satisfying and do not destroy the galaxy we came to love.

The extended ending would get a score of 5-6.
The game itself would get a score of 6-7.
Future DLC will determine if the game's score can rise to 7-8. It's up to Mike now.

Pre-EC: 2
Post-EC: 5
Improved mainly by that Normandy is not stranded scene and the "Wont put Sheps name on the wall"-scene. Whould be 7 if there was no downside.
Reduced to 5 because of blatant favourism for synthesis and several of its issues not taken into account.
(Destroy all the way for me)

New Endings
Synth: 2/10
Control: 2/10
Destroy: 5/10
Reject: 5/10 (And only because this is the only one that has Shepard actually sounding like Shepard)

Before EC: 4/10 It was to vague and ambiguous, with no sense of closure of how the galaxy turned out from your decision.

yeah it's quite obvious they INTENDED for the catalyst to be operating on flawed logic in much the same way that Skynet was.

The endings feel better, but I still don't really like them because they don't feel like they fit to me.
