I didn't hate the original ending, I didn't love it either, same applies now to the newer ending but it's a vast improvement. I chose Synthesis both times and can say I was happier with this extended ending, there's still questions that haven't been answered but I'm not going to complain too much!

The endings aren't good, but at least they make a bit more sense. The choice endings are weirdly optimistic for my liking, and the refusal ending is quite disappointing.

Now: 2, it's still garbage, but it's a little prettier.

New ending: 4 ...... maybe 5 if I were feeling generous

The endings are a little better exectued, and a lot of the most horrendous plotholes have been filled in, but at the end of the day, the ending can't be better than mediocre so long as the Catalyst plot exists in it's current form. You can add all the background info and slides you want, it can not and will not ever make sense, and will continue to overshadow the ending, and game as a whole.

Old destroy and other endings .5 out of 10 since they made no damn sense.

New destroy ending 9/10 The rest I would rate less simply because I just don't care for them and that's my bias.

Though I will say, refuse is completely worthless near a 0 out of 10. Shouldn't have been added. Just my opinion of course.

But Shepards speech was beautiful in reject. Finally some resemblance of the real defiant Shepard!
To bad the reject ending stopped being good after that. It just...fizzled out...
