@ Fifty-Of-Them - You have to be very careful. I'm assuming you have claimed the codes online. I suggest forgetting anything involving US at this point as both the games and the codes relate to NZ. I just realised where I've made a mistake with my steps. Some countries allow you to make a Sub account but others require a master. When I did my HK one, I did a master one but I did not tie it with my AUS account at any point. IF you are having problems, I reccommend trying my steps with a new NZ account (which may be painful I know) and see if that works. Just like Scottvee did refer to my post to PsychoMunkys or above to the refised first post to make sure the codes are really from NZ.

Neither of those options worked, I'm afraid. Ah well - I may have to settle for nothing after all. I really appreciate your help on the matter though!

A thousand thanks to Ancientonez and crew! I am downloading the 178MB Stone Prisoner as I am typing this. I had codes that read SG and as I am in Australia and had signed up with an Australian based account, things were not going to plan until these geniuses figured it out.

When are these games companies and their subsidaries going to start to understand that we live in a very global society. The types of limitations they implement to obviously stop pirates are a big old fat pain in the butt for us regular folk.

I would have hated to be someone without much computer experience trying to sort this one out.

Well done again guys!! You should win a Nobel for this!

@Donatello - I'd like a nobel prize for this bahahahahahahahaha

@ Fifty-Of-Them - I'm still thinking about your situation. I guess maybe theres just something you just forgot to mention. Give me a little to read over the posts and think and research. I like helping out fellow gamers :P

This is ok if sony don't find out since your internal mac code (00-00-00-00-00-00) is logged the first time you connect a new PS3 and register which country your living, and if you goto PSN USA,Europe,Asia and you already registed with another this will get your PS3 banned completely that means Unable to connect online ever again. Before doing this check the Playstation forum and read.
There are loads of people who have done this, why else are so many PS3 braking (if it wont connect brake it and get it swapped) some are people who tried to get on the USA or Asia site when they are registed with Europe.

If one of your codes did not redeem properly, contact customer support and they can manually add the entitlement to your account.

With regards to the region protection, I only know that that the European regions and Australian regions share the same DLC packages. North America and Asia also share DLC packages. This is part of Sony's copy protection system and I'm not all that familiar with the specifics of how it works. Based on what other users are saying, creating a new account in the region of your game disk has allowed people to download the DLC. Once downloaded to the PS3 I believe it can be accessed by any of the PSN accounts on that system, so there shouldn't be the need to create the sub-account Fiffy mentions.

And here lies the problem; on my US account none of the DLC shows up on the list. Switching to my NZ account, all DLC appears on the list - except the Shale DLC which retains its hefty $30 price tag. Maybe I should have mentioned this before, Ancientonez? :pinched:

yer hahaha. So is the shale on the US account instead of NZ and that's why it isn't showing up?
