Well I bought the Singapore copy of Dragon Age 2 days before the official release in Australia, I got the DLC fine by making a Singapore account but couldn't get the Warden's Keep or Stone Prisoner, so I just traded Dragon Age with another game to EB Games and got the Australian copy, funny thing is, the Singapore copy had DLC the AUS didn't, so I had like 6 DLC... *very happy face*

Ok, so i just wanna clarify something before i start crying,

i bought the game in israel, and used the redemption codes on my US account, going into the game, nothing shows up at the downloadble section, says that there is nothing to download,

when i check my registered game promotions both the stone prisoner and blood armor appear, are they both lost?

Okay. I have sent them two emails though, one of which is from December and I've still not heard from them. I guess I'll have to call them but it's such a hastle and I always get a rude customer service representative. I guess that is just my luck though.... I mean they can't all be rude.

@devil, even if you bought the game from israel its not 100% the dlc will be from israel. As some UK users found, their UK game included Asia region dlc. SURPRISE SURPRISE.



@ zeggi- PSN network should correspond to the DLC region. Dragon Age servers should correspond to the one you are using to view this post. A loss of connection to Dragon Age servers is quite common and not because of your PSN even. Just make sure, DLC country corresponds to PSN country.

Hi everyone,

I´m in the same situation as you. I redeemed the codes yesterday (ASIAN COLLECTORS EDITION) with my SPAIN PSN Id, it didn´t give any errors but the DLC doesn´t appear in the game. However here under "Registered Game Promotions" they both appear (SHALE and BDA).

Any hope or am I screwed?

Yep same problem here i live in europe and i bought a copy from amazon.com.

When i log on to my account on the ea website they both show up as authorized but i get nothing in-game.



I contacted ea support and they asked me to remove game data and then reinstall again and check my connectivity (which is fine) but it didnt help.

I told em it didnt work but i havent heard from them now for a week...

i had an idea, whould it work if i went and borrwed the game from the local videa store. then used that disk to download the new updates?? whould i be abile to then still play them on MY disk?? what do you think.

Ok listen up guys I think you are all confused about what contries go where.

Im assuming you want to use your home psn account .

Game corresponds to country X

X corresponds to the NEW psn account you need to make and the new user on the ps3 you are connecting the PSN WITH

DLC MUST be claimed according to the country the psn connects with. Singapore DLC requires a Singapore PSN.

You must login onto the game on the NEW USER, NOT the home one. 

Once the DLC is downloaded you CANNOT delete the user as it will corrupt the dlc.

PLEASE NOTE. I think it is possible to connect DLC purchased on your home psn or another country not related to country X by repeating my steps with the country you bought the DLC on. 

EXAMPLE SITUATION
Bought the game in UK and is my home country
Has singapore DLC codes
Bought additional DLC in UK

This situation requires 2 psn's BUT one would assume your home psn would work with the additional DLC. My steps would have to cover the singapore situation.

EXAMPLE 2 SITUATION
Bought game in USA
Has Hong Kong DLC (as unlikely as it may be)
Bought additional DLC from USA (cause I was stupid)
Home country is AUS

That situation would require 3 psn's. An Aus one, being the default, A USA for the additional content and a Hong Kong for the rest.


JUST REMEMBER ONE PSN MUST LINK WITH ONE USER ONLY. NO TWO PSNS CAN BE MADE ON ONE USER. TO ACCESS THE DLC YOU MUST ALSO LOGIN ON THE USER WITH THE CORRESPONDING PSN INTO DRAGON AGE.


DO NOT just believe that cause you have followed my steps you go back to your default user straight away.You must first go in, login to thr Dragon Age Social network and DOWNLOAD THE DLC before going back to your default account.

Here's my story - went on hols to SG and foolishly believed that because PS3 games are region free, the DLC would be too. crazy right?

anyway after following you steps, I've now got the armour and Stone Prisoner DLC.& even better, it's added it to my game that I'd already put 30+ hours into (i da grind).

so full points for that!

now to work out how to purchase Wardens Keep DLC from the SG PSN with a non-SG credit card.

Shouldn't be too much of a hassle; I buy with it from foreign sites all the time..

or does PSN use billing address as per PSN details?

I keep getting this message over and over again when entering my blood dragon armor code on this site:

"Code not recognized, please check that you have entered it correctly."

I've entered the code about 20 times, with and without hyphens, all characters in caps. I bought the game in Canada, and my PSN account is in Canada. My Shale code worked when entered on my console, and it is on the same card as my blood dragon armor code.

I did try to enter the code in-game at first and it didn't work, but I'm guessing that's not my problem since it would instead say that the code has already been used.

Please help.

Same story here, cant find a way to add funds to the SGP psn wallet by non - SGP credit card....

I bought the Warden Keep locally, but it's not appearing in the game even I log on as a local psn user, any solution for that? maybe like someone mentioned above, rent a copy from local video store then install it?

maybe but I haven't tried it myself. I don't understand how the game >>> DLC system works. Its just as frustrating for u as it is for me. Tell me if any of this works lol. This is all a working progress after all.

I got a US game and redeemed my codes (Shale & armor) on my Dutch PSN account (they're in my registered promo list), but when i log in with my Dutch PSN account on my PS3 and go downloadable content in-game it says: "No content available for download at this time, Check back later".

When I sign in with my US account, at least I can SEE the content is available... though not entitled, but still...
Is the content simply not available in the Netherlands?

yes, the codes are region specific and can only be downloaded from the relevant PSN network for that region. Therefore dutch codes require a dutch psn account. I explained that in my post above :S

I was saying in-game I'm not seeing any content available even for purchasing.

you will not see any DLC for the game by using a Dutch PSN account using a US copy of the game until the steps in the OP  are done - this is the problem most of the posters in this thread have had, including me
In your case, you will probably need to create a US PSN account and sign in to that first. (if your game is actually a US printed/distributed game)
Still using that US PSN account, start dragon age game, then sign in with your normal ea/bioware/Dragon Age details.
only then will you see the downloadable content in the relevant section, and only then can you you install it.
it is only after all of that you can log back in to your Dutch PSN user on your PS3 and normal ea/bioware/Dragon Age account and play the downloaded content on your usual PSN profile and it's associated saves and trophies.

Only once you've installed the DLC from the US PSN and normal

your redeem codes are still on your normal ea/bioware/dragon age profile - they are NOT linked to your PSN. it is the game that is coded to look for the specific regions PSN and THEN it hooks up to ea to check DLC once PSN has "authenticated" the region the game is being played in.

- you DO NOT have to reclaim the DLC codes again.
just follow the steps in the op
trying to get support to do it will probably gain you nothing but tears and frustration.

Thats the part I didn't understand. I just assumed he can see the content but can't download it :S. But its not that you cant get the same content in the Netherlands its just the psn system won't let you, due to being country specific for some stupid reason.

On the left, if you have already claimed the codes for the online content, it should say "New downloadable content available!" So go to the 'Downloadable Content" tab and the list should now pop up. Enjoy the enduring process of continously going back and forth downloading each content

I had to actullay take my PS3 round a friends, as I don't have wireless and claim the codes that way. Did all that and It appered in the download content box in my game menu, all nice and shiny. Took PS3 home again and now it has vanished from the menu.   No shale for me. What have I done wrong?
