So say the mass hysteria of 70,000 retake movement fans and the media upheaval didn't take place. (HYPOTHETICALLY - please don't spam with "it's impossible!!!" posts).

Did the team have any plans to sit down, evaluate that perhaps (as stated by David Gaider) because endings are sometimes rushed/under developed in the cycle of game development, the team could go back and expand on the epilogue with a DLC? I don't care if paid for or not, but just wondering if EC-like content was planned irrespective of the protests. 

I understand that maybe it would have come much later and in a different way and paid for, but did the team consider an "epilogue DLC" of some kind or was EC purely a favor to the fans?
