Honestly, if you woke up tomorrow and someone had given you superpowers while you slept without telling you, would you really be mad?

If you knew that someone was about to change the very nature of your being, granting you immortality in exchange for your humanity, would you be fine with that?

For me, no. A life of superpowers and immortality with no conflict is not a life. It is a lie.

Yes and no. I would be pissed at how they went about it. Especially if they did it in the way Shepard and the Catalyst did. It's a forced change and not one I was asked if I wanted before they changed me. However I wouldn't commit suicide just because I woke up different. Life throws curves balls all the time, but that doesn't mean you have to like them.

I got turned into a cyborg you mean? I think I'd be quite pissed *unless the green light wouldn't let me feel anger*. Synthesis is horrid.

I would totally become the protector of my Major Metropolitan City. It'd be rad.

If someone changed the way you looked you'd be annoyed. Morals are morals, even when things seem to work out. End the cycle on Starbrat's terms or stick to your morals and go down fighting? Change everyone without their permission or let people choose their own future?

Wait, is everyone immortal? I don't think everyone is immortal.  Lol, I think they just wanted to get rid of the tech classes  in future Mass Effect, and give those powers to everyone..

I would be grateful but I'd still punch them (I have superpowers try and stop me) for not asking.

If it was Synthesis I would find the Catalyst and break it's spine.

(but in all honesty, yes.  If someone forced a change on me that I didn't ask for -that changes the very core of my being I would call that I violation)

Would not care. Doesn't really seem to be any kind of downside. The worst part would be the god awful moving green glow everytime I look at myself in the mirror. If I got into a horrible accident and woke up in the hospital with a prosthesis, I'm not going to flip out over the fact that I wasn't consulted. Particularly given the alternatives, I don't see what happened as being morally wrong. I can either: die; live normally at the cost of Shepard becoming Reaper-God and trusting that he will stay good; live normally at the cost of the extinction of a people; or deal with genetic enhancement.

Even the trees underwent synthesis.

I wonder what eating a cyborg salad would be like.

Hmm. Imagine, you are a Geth program waking up from a sleep function and discovering that its platform now has built in inferior squishy things instead of main processing unit and it can connect to consensus only via voice call function.
THE HORROR -----> Blue screen of death.

I wouldn't be angry because I'd be brainwashed.  My unique, "undesirable" characteristics such as my propensity to act in my own self-interest, contemplate revenge, feel jealousy, doubt, etc. would have been purged.

So no, I wouldn't be mad... but that's part of the problem right there.  I wouldn't feel mad because I've just received a magic space lobotomy.
