So i need to contact EA live support again to get my commendation pack, but so far every time i try to log in to the EA site to access the live chat support i get Sorry, this service is temporary unavailable. (Timeout)

Anyone else been getting this issue?  Any other way to get to talk with the EA support guys?

I would wait a day or so before you contact them - it has only been 10hours scince the success was announced.

If you are considering contacting them, call them instead or use email. Waiting for the live support to be avalible is not worth it... Here's a transcript of a chat i had with their support, so you may know what you can expext of you choose that option:

I waited 25min in line, and the chat itself took just over an hour (dont worry, there is not a lot to read).

its funny contacted ea support via eamil and this is what they told me:


Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

I understand that you have not received commendation pack for operation Savage. I know it’s very upsetting. Please let me clarify that now we don’t have commendation pack for operation savage and it is yet to come. Please contact us after few days so we would be able to provide you commendation pack for operation savage. I hope you understand.

Just mail them again and hope for someone else to answer it. It's Wednesday night, if you didn't get your pack automatically yet, EA should be able to reward it manually. Sometimes.. you just don't get your email answered by a person who understands what you want.

I am shocked and appalled by this!  Is it just me or did this rep you spoke with sound like a recording just saying the same thing over and over again.  And to 'hang up' on you at the end?  I... I... have no words except... lolwut!?

The "customer support" is utterly useless. I have contacted them on several occassions and they have never been able to help me or resolve the issue I was having with the game. They always answer with the same cookie-cutter answers, to the point of being incredibly aggravating since their replies just conveniently skirt around your real issue you are trying to discuss. It feels like they don't even understand plain English to the point of having a drop down menu on their screens that allows them to select an automatically generated response that seems best to them.

Then the issue of not getting any credits refunded is utterly shameful on EA's/Bioware's/Origin's part. It is literally stealing in it's most simple and clear-cut form, especially for the people (not myself, granted) who buy Bioware points with real-world money.

When are they going to get routed for the crimes they have committed against the people who play their games? And when are they going to have a customer support staff that can actually PROVIDE customer support?

It's a lie... there is a shorter time you have to appeal if you do not have it yet,

Ah, yes "techincal support" we have dismissed this claim.

I used the link on the banner on the top of the forum page and it worked. I received the Commendation Pack yesterday evening.
