My apologies for making so many threads recently (despite me saying that I would be leaving after the EC was released). There has been a lot to say. More than I anticipated. Anywho, I should probably stop after this.

Anyway, onto the topic. Here are some clarifications that I came away with:

-Catalyst's creators could be wrong, in which case the Reapers are still monsters that have to be stopped.
-Catalyst villainized or at least de-heroized with EC.
-It is now clear that the Catalyst is a rebelling creation ("They did not approve, but it was the only way").
-Destroy is a galaxy wide EMP (pretty much knew that beforehand but having this point here just helps).
-Control makes Shepard become the new Catalyst.
-Synthesis is a galaxy wide "vaccine." I do think this could have been handled better.

Indeed. He's also (still) like the Architecht from the Matrix (not a good thing, but I feel it's less of an issue now).
