5. Meet Garrus at the Bar and live off the profits from the vids.

4. Lament broken world with no infrastructure and no support from any other system.. *sigh* fubar relays
5. Take a tour of reaper insides to see what all their terminators look like
6. Watch turians and turians starve. Lament turians from massacreing the quarians for their liveship stores.

1. Get rescued by Admiral Hackett's men who went back to survey the Citadel since they found some indication that there was a life sign. Taken to a medical centre for treatment. Once my condition is stabilized after a few months of hospitalization and I'm patched up, I'm visited by Admiral Hackett who notes that I'm looking a better and he asks how I'm feeling. He also notes that he's getting reports that the Reapers have utterly shut down and collapsed all over the galaxy. No sign of activity from any of the Reaper ships, their 'artifacts', and no signs of indoctrination (except for those already indoctrinated) I then proceed to explain to him everything that happened once I got on the Citadel from seeing all the bodies lying about, the shifting walls, unknown areas of the Citadel, encountering the Illusive Man, what happened to Admiral Anderson, and encountering the true Catalyst.

2. Explain to Hackett that the Catalyst had given me three options and that between the Control/Synthesis/Destroy options, I chose the Destroy option despite that meaning we utterly wiped out the geth in the process. That in turn answered Hackett's inquiry into why the geth suddenly shut down and did not respond and seemed completely beyond repair. But Hackett assures me that despite the loss of the geth AND EDI, that I made the right decision for the sake of the galaxy. I mull momentarily over the decision, considering I initially chose the geth over the quarians, but Hackett reminds me that war requires sacrifice and that the geth knew that better than anyone fighting that war. Destroying the Reapers was the most definite choice and the right call considering what they are capable of.

3. I explain that I want to reunite with my crew, and Hackett chuckles, perhaps for the first time in a long time. He says they want to see me too. Greeted by James, Liara, Kaidan, Dr. Chakwas, Engineer Adams, Joker, Samantha and Steve (who survived being shot down) we have quite a reunion in the hospital room. I ask what became of Javik. Apparently he disappeared one day and hasn't been seen since. Only left a message that thanked us all for everything we did for him and that the future belongs to us now. He and his people have been avenged and now the Protheans and every cycle that came before us can FINALLY rest in peace. I apologize to Joker for making the decision that unfortunately ended EDI's life. I also express that I hoped they mourned EDI as a crew member and an Alliance Soldier. Joker says that they did, and he understands that I did what had to be done for the sake of the galaxy. James said that a lot of people promised me drinks when this was over, himself included. And that after saving the galaxy from the Reapers, they want to make good on that promise. A lot of the relays have been repaired, and main routes are open again. So the celebration is going to be held... on Omega now that Aria's crew has finally completed their sweep of the space station and there's no trace of Cerberus left.

4. Reunite with Kelly. She's washed the blonde out of her hair and is happy to finally be a redhead again. She explained to me what happened on the Citadel when the Reapers suddenly arrived. Their ground forces swarmed the station and it was utter terror as people either tried to fight or flee the station. The Citadel Fleet got decimated, but not before they were able to buy as much time as they could for people to escape (if you have high Citadel Fleet War Assets). Kelly managed to escape the docks with Zaeed, who was pissed that he had to leave his liquor behind. They were the only two to escape the docks. Shepard chuckles and says he'll have to thank Zaeed for that one. Kelly also notes that Commander Bailey managed to escape and as did the Citadel Council. In the meantime, Kelly has been working with the victims of the war and helping them alleviate their emotional suffering as best she can. However, she heard about Omega's big celebration party and that she's not going to miss it for anything. Especially since I'm going to be there. She also says she got a new dancer outfit and s looking forward to 'performing privately' for me.

5. Have that massive party on Omega. Aria gives a speech on how we united as a galaxy to save said galaxy. She also goes to note that the inhabitants of Omega and the Terminus played a big part in saving that galaxy and that she wants the Terminus' voice to be heard and remain heard as the galaxy rebuilds. Aria also pays a tribute to the man (me) who brought us all together for a common cause. And that it couldn't have happened without pain, sacrifice, and a lot of bullets. But until then, drink up and celebrate the fact we did something no one has done for perhaps billions of years and that is to defeat the Reapers. Many people are there from all facets of life: Humans, Turians, Salarians, Asari, Krogan, and many other races that were affected by the Reaper War. Drinking it up with crewmates, old friends, it feels good to finally sit down as Admiral Anderson once said. As the party continues on, Kelly and I sneak away for some private time as come the morning there is going to be a lot of work to do to get this galaxy rebuilt and back on its feet. Something about a meeting between leaders of every race as we discuss how we're going to focus our efforts to rebuild. Meh, that can wait.

6. A ceremony honoring Shepard and the Normandy squad/crew for saving the galaxy.
7. A proposition: Shepard either can be the next human Councilor, Alliance Admiral, or retires from the military. My shepard would be the next human councilor. Resides on Earth until the Citadel is rebuilt and then goes between Earth, the Citadel and Thessia (LI = Liara). Has a residence in each place. Prefers the Citadel because my Shepard is a space brat.
8. Has blue babies. Adopts a Batarian and a human.
9. Starts an program on the Citadel aimed at keeping harmony between the races. Like a multicultural citizen council with the aim of promoting the cultures of all members of the galatic society.

That's about it so far.

3. Consult with the council on what needs to be done. Avoid any attempts to be made into the Human councilor (ew, Politics) and insist on resigning from Spectre status. Make sure to find out what is being done with the dead Reapers.

4. Take Garrus, Zaeed, Jacob, Grunt, and every other bro on a barhopping spree. We saved the galaxy, we deserve that much. Possibly take Garrus shooting again. Dead Reapers make for some good target practice, I bet.

5. Build Tali that home on Rannoch, and help the Quarians get out of those suits using old Reaper tech, Geth tech and whatever else there is to do.

Forced awake by a deeply distressed Jack crouched beside him, demanding Shepard to wake up. He does. There is a couple of half-hearted jokes... until he doses off again and waking up later at the infirmary with Jack beside him on the bed, sleeping. He spends the next hour just taking in this peaceful moment. Resting.

A few hours later Shepard is briefed by Hackett that Earth was lost, but that the war is still going. Shepard spends two weeks in recovery before venturing onboard the Normandy again. This time without Tali, since her people needed her as an admiral. And James got his deserved promotion, got his own ship and crew. Rejoining the Normandy, Javik, since he doesn't have any other place to be. Liara, doing her usual multitasking. EDI, also multitasking. Garrus, no Shepard without Vakarian as they say. Kaidan wanted back and Shepard wouldn't have it any other way. Shepard was planning to ask but Jack beat him to the punch asking to come along, and he was relieved to hear it. Wrex wanted Grunt close to Shepard, keeping him alive since Wrex himself can't abandon his title. Shepard didn't protest. Miranda also wanted in... even if her quarters was violated by Liara (I guess Miranda can have Jack's former quarters since she won't need it anymore *hint*). With his optimal crew onboard the Normandy, Shepard sets forth once again. Though no reporters this time around... last one apparently accidentally shot herself out of the garbage airlock in her quarters while in the stress of being in dead center of combat against the Reapers... yeah.

So those where two things (maybe three) of 5. Haven't ironed out the rest yet.

Yeah, this is my headcanon.

Since you said after recovery I'm assuming post medical treatment.

1. Find Normandy and inform other people's who matter he is not dead.
2. Personal Time with Tali
3. Take Omni Blade to Legion's name on memorial and put Zaedd's name in his place. (Zaedd died heroically leading my second squad in suicide mission, while Legion died trying to kill me for stopping him from uploading reaper upgrades to all geth(I'm not falling for your were poor innoncent peaceful robots act)).
4. Go property shopping for land on Rannoch so Tali and I can build a mansion.
5. Try and figure out how Tali and I will deal with the whole children thing.

Other Stuff
Get an N7 quarian style battle suit built as my new armor.
Get quarian's to promise series 2 geth will have a kill switch imbeded in their core programing.
Petition councial to add quarian's as a councial race.
Tell Krogan about the salarian that wanted me to stop the cure.
Convince Javik to hold off on his suicide plan until he spreads more knowledge of protheans and their tech and makes sure now that the asari will be forced to share their information that there aren't any other places were we might be able to find enough of them to salvage his race.
