   High and low have I searched, finding virtually every piece of every armor set in the game. Save the ceremonial gloves. Ceremonial armor may not be the best, because of its red-steelish nature, but I think its probably the coolest looking.
 
 Unfortunately, nowhere on the entire massiveness of the internet can I find directions leading me to them, and after doing every quest, exploring the whole of Fereldan multiple times over many playthroughs, not once have I seen them, but I found the armor and boots every time.

Please devs,
Please Bioware, take a look at this problem. I know that it is not simply me failing to search well enough, because nobody else has found them and no guides speak of their whereabouts.

EDIT:
I am now 100% sure the ceremonial gloves are in no exact location in all of the 360 version of Dragon Age Origins. After finding at least 10 posts throughout the internet of people asking where they are, and getting NO helpfull response, I have become frustrated.

   In all of the above articles, people are complaining about how they cannot find the ceremonial gloves. In none of the articles are their location revealed. Hate to be a downer, but hey, just helping you guys out. (Bioware and 360 owners)

I'll throw my two cents in. I'm not particularly interested in the set, but the fact that they can't be found annoys me to no end. What if I decide I want to use that set later? I won't be able to because they can't be found.

Looking for them too, maybe the same like the problem with the gloves of the ancient elves armor...

ancient elven gloves don't have the same problem at least on 360. i have found them lots of times. they deffinately are in the game. I did hear about a certain piece of the elven armor not showing up in the lothering chantry like it should on pc version, but the main reason i posted this in 360 tech support is because while PC owners can help themselves to their own mods, console owners are far less than lucky and are forced to purchase small amounts of mediocre content (sometimes its good, not usually) with heavily inflated prices.

The Ceremonial gloves are not in game and really the set sucks hard and gives a bad bonus. Just sell the stuff off.

see i understand the set isnt the best but this is in tech support fo a reason. besides, after using the duplicating glitches on my "tomes of the mortal vessel"s all my stats are are least 100, I could go to 999 but for the sake of having a small amount of fun I don't. Point being I only care about the look of armor and I like to collect every armor set in the game. I'm wierd that way.

I used to do the same with the Special Weapons and kept them if I wasnt going to use them. No point in it since its just good gold you are giving up. Not to mention, no storage chest means you cant keep it anyway.

haha I keep ALL the unique weapons AND armor in ma little wardens keep chest
oh and I use the duplicating glitch for monies too so i dont gotta sell my itemz made like 3000 sovereigns and said thats good and never needed any more money for the reast of the game

The only reason I want to find the gloves is because I'm OCD and want to find all possible armor sets. Plus, if it's gold I want, I can sell the unused sets to the Dwarf at camp and he will hold on to it for me.

Yeah I am quite frustrated by this as well. The Official Strategy Guide speaks of a "New Shopkeeper" in Heaven that simply does not exist either and he's supposed to have upgraded inventory so I'm thinking that's where the Ceremonial Gloves would have been.

4 playthroughs with money glitch and no problem at all. I usually glitch between 2 and 5 thousand with more if and when I need money. The numerical caps of the game are fairly low because the game deals in small numbers.....the most expensive item I saw was 157 gold where most things are bellow 5 gold so getting greedy and glitching large numbers of unneccessary gold may well cause problems. Given that the stat caps are at 1000 I immagine the gold cap is somewhere around 10000 though I have no intention of wasting a lot of time glitching gold to see what is too much. Get greedy at your own risk......it's not like you can reasonably spend more than 5k anyway.

I thought this was about Ceremonial Gloves, anyway if you want gold just have Morrigan make potions and sell them.

It is though the topic is mostly dead......not much to say except that nobody found them and they probably do not exist. Plus his missconception about the gold glitch was plain wrong......it doesn't corrupt saves....not when used within reasonable limits at least.

I know it's a different set of armor, but what about the Ancient Elven Boots, I haven't found those either. Can someone tell me if they are in the game or not? Maybe I missed them somewhere.

Those are in Lothering. Talk to the Knight Commander in the Chantry and tell him "Is there nothing else you can help with?" and he'll give you a key to a locker on the far wall in the back of that chantry.....the boots are in there.

Bumpity bump. Like to just hear if you all at bioware care. If its too late and cant do anything to add new items to the game, thats fine too, but let us know please??? Also, I think a fine way to allow people to get some of those illusive armor pieces, that dont belong to godly armor sets, is to put them in upcoming DLC's, even if there are multiple. Just so long as there arent multiple Juggernaut armor pieces, or effort armor sets laying about.

EDIT: I would like to include what specific sets of armor I mean, because there shouldn't be multiple sets of every armor that is in the game right now.

Chevalier's Armor:   My guess is there were multiple chevaliers, and the only place to get the chevaliers plate is to find them in marjolaine's chest, and that is also the same way to find chevaliers boots... kinda stupid. Also, what you find in marjolaine's chest is random, so I never got all of the chev;s set.

Ancient Elven Armor:   I have seen, in a random encounter along the roads, elves wearing this, and there were at least 4 of them wearing it, meaning there is deffinately more ancient elven armor out there. Its just that there is only one of each piece in the game, and I think there should be more.

Commanders Armor:   Seriously, whats up with this??? This armor set sucks and its about the hardest to find. Right now you only get it randomely!

Ceremonial Armor:   Considering the fact that the gloves do not even exist in the game right now, I think some additional ceremonial armor pieces should materialize into existance.

I have seen what ceremonial gloves look like, and they are my FAVORITE. The would go E-P-I-C-L-Y with the blood dragon armor, because I like the blood dragon armor and all, but not the gloves. I am NOT going to stop this thread until there is closure. An answer from a dev will not be closure either, if they simply avoid the problem at hand and avoid the topic of ceremonial gloves.
