this set is probally one of the best skin of the heavy chainmail family and im gonna give up ranting about finding the gloves till theres a mod or some kind of replacement to it. i really wish somebody would give it a fix just like the high elven boots

first off I hate you, lol. Now I am obsessed with finding them or begging for a mod. It's sad that Bioware still after almost 2 months have failed to patch simple little things like this or even have a Dev come on her & reassure us they exist. So many glitches & sometimes it seems like they do not care at all. This is the first time I've felt so ignored by Bioware of all developers

I've been reading & searching in game along with all the forums I can find. If I locate the gloves I'll let you know b/c I am the exact same way, it's sad really b/c in this game if I can not have my armor matching my helm, shield, & weapon(s) I just can't get in the mood to play. lol

Anyways I'll keep an eye out!!!!

Haha thanks man, but seriously don't start freakin out over them because really the only way to get them is if *someone* decides to put them into the game. See the problem I have is that I have an xbox 360, and while modding some things with a transfer cable is possible its usually not a very wise decision, as it leads to little problems as well as big problems like getting BANNZORED!!!!!!

I have good news for everyone I have found the CEREMONIAL GLOVES (X360 version). I have gotten them as a drop off the Guardian when you fight him after tainting the sacred ashes with dragon's blood. I have gotten them with 5 different toons now, just dont bring Leliana, Wyane or Shale with you so you dont have to fight them

I'm so glad someone found these, it's been driving me nuts for days!!! I just started the Bercilian Forest but I'm going to put it on hold in order to get my hands on those gloves!!! Thanks for the post!!

what the hell.. I have fought the guardian and killed him over 30 times and no ceremonial gloves. in fact, nothing other than potent health poltices. I have reloaded the game outside the temple of sacred ashes like 30 times and gone through it to fight the guardian and he has never dropped them!!!! can anyone confirm that what this guy is saying is true???

I now give up on killing temple guardian, he deffinately does NOT drop ceremonial gloves. Why did I believe a random fools forum post anyways.

The Ceremonial Gloves are dropped in the Sacred Ashes quest I will re-check who I got them but I am sure it was the Guardian.

Its also possible your thinking of the ancient elven gloves that you deffinately get in a chest inside the reaver temple area.

Did the Sacred Ashes again today and I checked every single area and I even fought the guard, although I killed Kolgrim and had no dragonblood. No gloves.

Haha just so I everone should know, I have been to every area in the game and taken every item, except for the area where you get axameter. And Im sorta kinda doubting that you get the ceremonial gloves there. To my knowlege, ceremonial gloves DO NOT CURRENTLY EXIST in the game.

Don't collect too much armor your game will just get corrupted like mine did attempting to gather every item in the game

People the gloves are droped by the guardian Or the priest kolgrim im not sure... (alltough im not sure if is in one of the chests near the urn, or in some corpse, i dont remember) you have to play on the cultist side and taint the sacred urn with the high dragon blood when you do this you got to fight the guardian(disciple of andraste) in the end. Just dont bring leliana or wyane And make sure you have high influence with those characters, like 100 so they wont leave you in the end on the camp, and you can bring Shale it doesnt matter he doesnt belive in the maker.   I have a recollection it is  Kolgrim and not the guardian, either way, they do exist i remember having then.
PS: dont forget to take a pinch of the ashes before you tainted with the dragon blood. And for the record you can always kill priest kolgrim, and the high dragon all the same when it is done is your choice realy. This path is also the way to unblock the reaver specialization. i hope i could help.

hey i found something in dragon age toolset about ceremonial grove, it description to lootable

it some loot can combination to item , maybe it doesn't complete in this version or we doesn't know how to acquire formula for combination them

Sorry, but the answer is no. I killed Kolgrim and the Guardian multiple times and I never found the gloves. The Ancient Elven Gloves are in this temple, but not the ceremonial gloves. End of line.

Take my post with a grain of salt...

I only temporarily sided with the cultists to get the Reaver specialization. I saved right before the urn and once I had unlocked it I loaded so I didn't have to defile it again. Didn't want to do it permanently as it was against my role playing plan for my character. I BARELY remember these gloves dropping from the Guardian... I also remember thinking that I didn't care because I thought the set sucked so I didn't mind losing them when I went back to do things differently.

Honestly I am not sure. But when I went through this whole thread I kept thinking I had seen them somewhere....the post about the Guardian seemed to ring a bell but like I said.....not sure.

So the ceremonial gloves are what I'm looking for and it's doing my head in!!!! Just done the urn different sides and got no gloves off kolgrim or the gaurdian :-( grrrrr
