Which ME3 save file is used to replay a character?

I think I've shot myself in the foot here.  I want to replay one of my shepards in ME3, but it's not giving me the option to import.  Thing is, I have this habit of tidying up my computer and I deleted all the saves but the "save_xxxx.pcsav"ones.

So anyway, did I delete some off the wall save that is required for reimporting back into ME3 again?  I just figured it was safe to get rid of all those others since ME2 did fine with the standard save files.

Nevermind. Started from an earth save and redid the final earth battle and ending sequences. The game made a "newgameplus.pcsav" save at some point. Was able to reimport just fine.
