Just finished playing it again this time with the "perfect ending."  Shepard and all crewmates survive. 

It's a nice segue to a future ME game and left me satisfied.  I still got choked up a bit as he said his goodbyes to his crea, and was facinated by the new dialogue between Shep and the Starchild/Reaper1.  

This was good science fiction and a game that was more like a novel than a game.  You can go back to ME1 and find hints and precursors to ME3 that are far from accidental.  This was/is good fracking writing and planning.

Kudos EA/Bioware.  A job well done.  Now when do I get my refund for the last DA?  :happy:
