[Harbinger of your Destiny]

Ok let's say that reapers and us never fight again, that we are one type of people. Also we are immortal. Eventually a brand new species will evolve on a brand new planet. Would we try to make them like us? Would that not be akin to reaping? Ok let's say we just leave them  to evolve on their own. If we keep up that mandate eventually these organics would create synthetics. We see synthetics as a threat and therefore do the whole thing over again. The only way to end the threat of reapers once and for all is with destroy. I know that means sacrificing edi and legion but they were all soldiers and they accepted that sacrifice might be a required. It's a massive sacrifice but reaping is a massive, massive threat to the future.
