Huh. Well, you learn something new everyday. In my part of the world, they're little explosive devices that can be toted around and let off at whim. Quite fun to play with, but they can be dangerous since accidental explosions at close proximity can go horribly wrong and blow up or burn a body part. Talk about celebrating with a bang. :/

Anyway, RPG over FPS. I don't have the eye-hand coordination for the latter.

@ kuuran: Red roses. Not that I'm a traditionalist, but white roses are a little funearal for my taste.

Somewhere in East Asia. The incendiary-type firecrackers are a traditional feature at festivals and parties. I've never heard the word used in the context which you describe, but UrbanDictionary has proved to have the scoop on all things current.  

For your question, I've never been a fan of telling people what they should do especially when it comes to personal taste. Do whatever you like.
