I have changed my mind on the nerf. I actually think it has been a buff to most good infiltrators play style. If you're built for damage, you aren't going to run halfway across the map to revive some moron who is busy ramboing. Objectives take a little more team coordination which is also a good thing. Communication helps.

Actually, no. I expect you to pull your weight as you class, same as anyone else. I don't accept blaming the game for your failure to play well.

From what I have noticed is the infiltrator's 40% bonus sniper damage went down to 25%. I dont know what else has been done, but they did nerf it a little. I have not really noticed any change to my numbers though.

Maybe you should try to cope with it instead of whining on the forum. Your class isn't useless, it was nerfed. Deal with it and stop exaggerating. The wet sponges bit made me laugh at first, but facepalm when I realized you were serious.

That is what I think. The Infiltrator went from a versatile class to a quick cloak shotgun killer.

If you can't do the 4 device objective without tactical cloak then the problem is with you not the lessened duration on the skill. Tactical cloak made it easier sure but the key to doing the objective has always been drawing agro away from the device.

I will admit at first I was shocked and a little bit angry about the changes, however after playing a few rounds last night the only thing that really changed was that I decloak half way through a capture.
My Talon infiltrator is still just as effective, topping the board at 132k with a 'Smash EVERYTHING' Adept in second at 93k. Just as fun as ever.

As I have said before, all of the changes will help to separate the good Infiltrators from the bad ones (the ones that have been giving us a bad name).

Played a few games with QFI last night, and wasn't so different. Score was probably lower, but still first in 2 games (silver, gold) and third in another (silver).

Going after objectives was a bit riskier with the shorter timer. Definitely have to be more aware of enemy positioning and timing it right. It sort of makes it more exciting actually.

You said you specced for damage, so that is literally impossible. Even if you don't spec for Sniper Rifle damage, Tactical Cloak still grants an 80% bonus to damage- while Stasis only grants 50%, at the very end of the tree, and only if they don't spec for Bubble. Additionally, Stasis's base recharge is 12 seconds, and you can get as low a cooldown from TC as 3 seconds. You should at least be able to get off two Tactical Cloak cycles in the time it takes for the Adept Sniper to get off one.

If Adept Sniper did better than you, that's because Adept Sniper was simply better.

I played a G/C/R yesterday with my soldier and had no proplems with deactivation stuff. The others distracted the enemy and i did them. So you can't do it with out a tac cloak? BS.

Nope, playing on a different account than I post with as my origin from that account is an e-mail i cant acces anymore.

Look at my threads, I solo'd gold with a cloakless gi with a krysae x , so my manifest is not from this account

Just to tell you im not trolling I could post some picture proof of my characters and/or weapons

Anyway this discussion is going OT and im getting called troll by people who dont know the meaning.And I dont want to risk a ban in a discussion that is this dumb. 

Tip for you : dont inssult others when your manifest is lacking, most people are harder than me and will use scolding words just stop this discussion now so we both dont get a chance to get banned as we solve it, ok?



On-topic : infiltrator imho is still the strongest class except the massive team aspect for 1234 objectives and the revive pony utility is removed by cloak time reduction. The damage nerf barely makes a difference so keep using the infiltrator folks its still good.

People thought I was going too far when I said a Tac Cloak nerf would cause people to leave the game because they don't know how to play otherwise.  Now we see it was an accurate prediction.
