After spending an hour or two reading some of these threads here I’m glad I took the time to complete this game before registering… the only reason I registered my game was to download the extras… which turned out to be a big disappointment a chest that should have been in the first camp right from the start so you had somewhere to store your gear… and not to add any spoilers by saying what I thought of the pickups after completing the quests… also a level one Shale I ask you… did they wish me to start over as if I had any choice… the game-play shut the world-map down to two game downloads… and a toolset… I was hoping to be able to go round and pick up on any quest I missed… not so… and now with the toolset I have a level 99 one hit two hand sword toeing female mage all stats over 500 all spells and skills with no-where to play... You don’t believe then check out her stats below
Ooops sorry 404 page error... well if you click my name dieapy by thread should get you there surely
Give me the “Tes Construction Set” any-day both Morrowind or Oblivion
First off, the extras are not exactly "jump for joy" quality I understand that. To assume a storage chest should have been in the game to begin with, while a good idea, doesn't change the fact that there wasn't. The game isn't any more playable with a storage chest, just easier. You'll probably find that you haven't leveled Shale up. The game was never designed like Morrowind/Oblivion or Fable II so assuming that you would be able to run all over the place afterwards was just wishful thinking brought on by other games with that option (would have been nice, but all the same I'm glad it actually ended.).
The toolset encourages you to mod either the single-player game or make your own campaign/mod, altering stats and all that I don't mess with 'cause tha game isn't tough enough sometimes. Again the problem that you have a "hacked" character with no where to play is your assumption that the game didn't really have an ending and you could just wander about and do any quests you skipped in favor of completing the main campaign. That being said, enjoy the game and play it as it was meant to be played now that you've learnt your lesson about DA:O's disappointments you encountered once you finished the campaign.
I think any toolset is not only very generous, but also more fun for me 'cause now I get to actually change things around in my game that would be a ************ and a half to do without the toolset. I know nothing of the process but you'd probably use several tools in place of one eh? And of course these forums are a great place to ask your questions when tutorials/your poor brain + toolset =

Anyone who counted the asterisks can consider themselves qualified to be on Wheel of Fortune, as no doubt you also thought what dirty word would be 12 characters long by now.
