Sudden Influx of Low N7's

p.s. i do not mean to imply that the n7 has much to do with skill. i will say that if your n7 is below 100 you do not have as much experience as me and could probably use some mentoring by somebody to adjust your play style.
anyways, i was just curious if anyone knew the cause, or if it was just a sudden spike on the xbox only.

An excess of low N7 players everywhere.
There used to be a lot of 300-800 N7 players, but those seem to have vanished only to be replaced by either N7 1-150 or N7 1200+ types.

It does seem a little weird to see new players at this late stage.

Maybe it's people building their EMS back up for Extended Cut?
Great observation. That would make perfect sense. Most of the people that I talk to seem to be replaying from a point before the war assets are frozen.

Also possibly some part of "I'm back from second round of summer vacation trips" in certain age ranges.

then you have the players which after 10 or so promotions or when they get their numbers up for the SP simply stop promoting and play to keep their effectiveness levels up.

When are war assets frozen?

He was shocked that my N7 rating was so high (660'ish) and stunned that his 'mom' can and does actually play on Gold all the time. Hes 25 so he grew up on this stuff and thinks he can rock all the Xbox games and that I know nothing but I dooooo.

I introduce my female family members to games all the time. In fact, I introduced my sis to ME2 yesterday. After she gave it back, she said "It was interesting, I may play it again" My female family members figure out some things about RPGs that I don't think about. :happy:Freskione2 wrote...
I noticed the same, poor things. My son hasn't been able to play since it came out and his N7 is at 15 so I've been giving him a hard time about it, telling him hes going to get slaughtered by me when he does start back up and get kicked for having crap for weapons etc.

Does anybody else notice that there is a increasingly higher ratio of low n7's in the random lobbies you are getting? i am on xbox and i am ending up in lobbies with under 100 n7's on avg. Did the player ban really effect that many higher n7's or has there been a surge of people buying the game.

I only started playing mp after I played the sp a couple of times but I have had the game since release date. Others may have done the same.

I'd maybe play Hells Bells from AC/DC. It'd be hilarious:wizard:Mgamerz wrote...
If you're about to get kicked from a lobby, find the nearest vuvuzela play it directly into the microphone. It'll be worth it, trust me.

My friend is below N7 100 but he has already figured out how to play the game properly. When he plays Manguard, he never uses nova. He mostly spams shockwave. He also uses Biotic Charge to stagger Phantoms, then he heavy melees, then he uses BC again. I never thought using BC and Heavy Melee against a Phantom would be a good idea, but he makes it work:DBatgang alumni wrote...

New people to the multiplayer game shouldn't assume that they can start off on gold, yes there are exceptions to the rule but in general they need to get use to the change of pace of the gameplay, build a weapon base and learn the maps.
Reminds me of the N7-1 level 1 Nova Guard that wandered into my Gold lobby, today.
