At the same time I ask the 2,000+++ plus players what they are doing in silver.....generally no reply, I really wish I could see their manifest, it is desperate rare I see them with weapons at the max, it's generally a levey 2 +/-

"From a straw"? Aaaaaahhhhhhahahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha. I like this saying. What is it referring to? Drawing fecal matter into one's mouth via a straw?

I have been asking if they have a mic, in a very kind way of course to get an answer, game is "cheap to buy", "read a review", "Herd online was amesome", "Downloaded the DLC", decided to try the multiplayer, I noticed the lower N7 in Silver where I hang my hat about two weeks ago but started asking this week, always curious.

It has been kind of funny, seeing some of them, then hearing them say over the mic - look at that guy, he's N1200.
*shrug*
They're not all bad.

p.s. i do not mean to imply that the n7 has much to do with skill. i will say that if your n7 is below 100 you do not have as much experience as me and could probably use some mentoring by somebody to adjust your play style.
anyways, i was just curious if anyone knew the cause, or if it was just a sudden spike on the xbox only.
It's on PS3 too. I wanted to test a new build on my Turian Sentinel, so I started a u/u/b match and left it open. I outscored everyone tremendously, but I started solo so I had a big lead. The build rocked, so I changed it to silver and we went to town, u/u/s...we got reapers/dagger.
Two of them were under N7 50, the other was roughly N7 100. I carried them through but it was a lot of work. My Turian Sentinel is specced for support, not soloing
I could tell they were true newbs that hadn't played much before...the DA and DV had no idea how to prime/detonate BE's, nor the Engineer TB's. The BE's I did get in with warp/reave, pull/warp, or reave/warp combos were shockingly powerful. Defintely Gold viable with an adept that knows their stuff.
It was also the first time I gave the Hurricane a true, open-minded shot at ownage. And man, did it. That is my new favorite gun on my Turians.

New people to the multiplayer game shouldn't assume that they can start off on gold, yes there are exceptions to the rule but in general they need to get use to the change of pace of the gameplay, build a weapon base and learn the maps.
Reminds me of the N7-1 level 1 Nova Guard that wandered into my Gold lobby, today.
I thought seeing a N7-1 level 1 pop up in a Silver worriesome today....

I'd go with Caramelldansen or the Hamster Dance song. Maybe the opening from Lucky Star. Not as obnoxious, but it tends to get stuck in your head.Mgamerz wrote...
If you're about to get kicked from a lobby, find the nearest vuvuzela play it directly into the microphone. It'll be worth it, trust me.

Id gladly play with him. He'll either stick with the team and get better or realize he made a mistake on his own.Funky_D_Luffy wrote...

The new guys that were in my games this afternoon did that...I wanted to do a silver. I figured I would end up carrying them, but no big deal. I changed the difficulty and everyone readied up right away.
There was a rash of deaths in the first two waves, indicating (to me, at least) that they hadn't really been to familiar with silver before, and the increased damage over bronze. Also, we went from geth bronze to reapers silver.
After wave two the three of them (DA, DV, AJA) stuck together and I would lone wolf it if necessary...pulling a boss mob away from them until the trash was all dead or what have you. After wave two I only had to solo the end of 2 waves, because they were contantly reviving each other and staying near each other. I was quite proud of them, to be honest
I just wish my mic had been working, I would have coached them on how to prime/detonate BE's and the game would have gone in half the time. Afaik, the only BE's that went off were ones I primed because the DA and AJA were spamming reave and I got a warp in first, or ones I triggered because I could see a reaved enemy running around.
New players like that make me happy to see them in lobbies, willing to learn and adapt. Must have been BF3 players in a previous life

You you have an orgin a/c and I do like to look at player manifest here, just curious. What I mean is on random, I have been seeing a lot of things that do not make sense to me, How can someone with an N28 Asari have a level 10 Carnifex? Well they could have bought a pile of packs with cards, highly unlikely. Then I saw a player with an N7 of I think 60 who had two level 10 wespons, this is when red lights go off, I leave it be and play the game.

I popped my mic on and asked that if anyone had any missles to use them at extraction but not to sit in there until the clock gets down to 15 or so. They either didn't hear me or ignored me and all 3 died early on. I kept my mic on and honestly tried to give pointers, the biggest being that the lack of biotic explosions and tech goodies will hurt them in the long run until they get good weapons. LOL not 3 seconds after I stopped talking, I got the beautiful red X x3 and was booted. If anything, they saw how awesome arc nades are

Looks like someone needs some more game time before judging other players.
