This is my third playthrough of DA:O, I've played as rogue and then sword and board but this is my first time as a mage, well, my first time actually planning to play all the way through. I intend on using the "Skip the Fade" mod because IMHO the Fade that the sloth demon drags you into bares no impact on the storline and feels more like Irenicus' dungeon from BG2, something that is more annoying than fun after you played it a couple times. However, my question is whether or not, as a mage, if something is different about the fade. Is there a special encounter of any kind that you don't get from a rogue or warrior class? Does the demon from my harrowing shop back up in it?
Question about the Fade when playing as the mage

Unfortunately not. I would have loved to see Mouse again
He was awesome. Or at least that... I think Sloth demon you meet during the Harrowing as well -- the one who teaches Mouse to become a bear. It was less of a pain to get through as a mage than as a warrior though... But that might have been because of the GoA/WH items.
