My point remains: I can hold a choke point for 3-4 waves straight without moving from cover with Concussive Shot and some judicious bullet use. If you try and do the same with grenades, you'll be out by the end of a single wave. Oh, and good luck getting all seven of those grenades back without running to every ammo box on the map 2-3 times.
Its called a Thermal Pack. You're probably using it anyway to reload your gun since you apparently aren't moving.
I know what those are. I also know that we only have a limited supply of packs per mission. I don't use them myself, because the between-round automatic resupply usally either caps out my ammo or is enough to carry me through the following round. With such a short recharge, high force (which translates to easy knockdown/knockback), and a DoT effect against organics, Concussive Shot becomes my primary mode of attack. My gun is secondary, used for finishing off downed targets and taking out heavies like the Atlas.

I honestly want to know why you say this. Because it doesn't do the same kind of damage as a Frag? Because it has a (ridiculously short) cooldown that you're afraid will interfere with your Rush-spam? Something else entirely?
