I dont know if its just me, but on my console version of the game, it looks like my my Wade's SDB armor has been fading since I got it made. When I first got it, it was the standard crimson all over and now it has obviously faded out spots on it mostly around the torso and thigh regions of the armor.

I'm on PC and it never was crimson for me.



It was always a sort of mottled bronze and I didn't notice any changes over time.

When I first got it and even look at it from the equipment screen, it has a deep crimson color to it, but when I look at it now, the color seems to have faded off of it after using it for so long. I managed to get my suit pretty early since I only have the mages recruited at this point and nothing else done in the least.

Could be just a coincidence based on the lighting effects of the ares you're in. My best guess.

I dunno about that since its still the same while indoors at the Denerim estate.
