"Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut represents the definitive version of the endings to the Mass Effect trilogy, and the final resolution of Commander Shepard’s journey. We have no plans to release further content related to the endings."
Will there be no post-EC epic final Harbinger confrontation and suicide mission styled deployment of resources in a final attempt to defeat the reapers? As an Indoc Theorist, this is what I have been hoping for.
To me, EC did nothing to prove OR disprove IT. They could still make a big revelation.
Samuel_Valkyrie suggests in his thread http://social.biowar...ndex/12799212/1 that there might be content in future DLC that could lead to a different final outcome. But now, with this statement, is it still possible? Is she lying? Is she unaware of Bioware's top secret plot twist plans? Does the fact that she says
"endings to the Mass Effect trilogy" mean there might still be a ME4?
Speculate or enter Despair Mode.

It is not dead as an interpretation though. Take that as you will.

I think this is as good as we're going to get, to be honest...

On the other hand, they also said in same FAQ that they wouldn't add any new endings. Make of that what you will.

And I still retain that belief today - which is why I believe in IT until proven otherwise. (by BioWare)

Jessica also tweeted a while back that the kid shouldn't be trusted perhaps.

Literal endings say you can't trust the kid. But it's the only hope you got. Not doing what he says results in failure. It's like shep has no choice.
So yeah, it sucks, but I don;t think it's related to IT, it's just the starkid is a logic loop VI rogue maniac.

That's what's new with the EC. Before literalists seemed to interpret him as some kind of benign omniscient force. Now it is proven that he is off his nut to say the least.StElmo wrote...

Is there a purpose to Bioware clarifying he can't be trusted? What else aren't we supposet to trust him about?

I don't care! Just pick the Control ending & call it a day. I'm busy playing Dragon's Dogma, no time for Mass Effect anymore.
