Does anyone know why Zaeed's slide seemingly only shows up in destroy, or why Grunt is absent in synthesis but present in destroy and control?

If Shepard picked synthesis, and Zaeed was a synthganic with green circuitry, he wouldn't have to personality to want to lounge around sipping pina-coladas.

That was kinda the whole point of the extended cut: closure, answers, etc.
