Adding Midnight Meat Train to my list. Watched that the other day... Kind of wish I didn't. XD

I would have liked it a lot more if they'd had a different ending. I mean, a race of Lizard-monsters live under London and the authorities kill random people so they can feed the monsters just so the monsters don't start killing people? Really?

It reminds me of the ME3 ending... Image IPB

My friends are really into Twilight and asked me to come along to watch the third film. I should have stayed home and flushed the toilet for three hours instead.

The same friends asked me to come watch the Hunger Games, but thankfully that film is much better than the books. I'm just glad they aren't into Fifty Shades of Grey, and I'm currently getting them hooked on Game of Thrones/ASOIAF. They should know what good fiction looks like.

Fifty shades is so horribly written. It's almost like it was written by a twelve year old.

Watching paint dry is both cheaper and better for the environment than flushing your toilet for THREE HOURS. Plus it's really neat if you actually have some painting to do anyway.

You guys should start a self-help group 'The impact of sparkling Vampire wannabes in the movies'
The first rule would be 'I was helpless the girl who wanted to see the film was hot..'.

Yesterday I watched 5 minutes of 'À la recherche du temps perdu'. Oh the horror.

Act of Valor. The upside to using real Navy Seals to act in a movie is the action scenes were really good and the downside was all the rest of the movie.
I'm fairly sure it wasn't intended as a comedy but I did laugh a lot (and gag alot) during the 'emotional' family scenes, buddy bonding moments and the slow motion face panning, post action scenes.
As an antidote I then watched the black comedy God Bless America and felt much better about the world. :)

Book of Babes: Bare Wench 2

I recommend skipping to the end for the funny UFO scenes. (Sorry if I spoiled these for anyone...)

Spawn (1997)

What a god-awful movie with shockingly bad special effects, a stupid ridiculous story and an evil clown character who was more annoying than Jar Jar Binks...

Starship Troopers 2 (2004)

The first one is a classic! A great sci-fi action movie that is both glorifying and insulting war propaganda! This one has a budget of 1/20th the first one and decides to go into cheap B-Grade Horror. Awful movie that pretty much had nothing to do with the first one.

It's a tie between Highlander II and Jack and Jill.

Outside of the special effects on spawn himself, I completely agree. Spawn is great, the movie is not.

Out of all the twilight books, I'll always hate the 3rd the greatest with a vengeance. It really is watching paint dry. Ms. Meyer is truly the queen of snail's-pace narrative. But hey, we've got vampires with sparkles and hair gel, so it's alllllright.

That Wasn't a Movie,
it didn't reach any requirements to be considered as such.

I could not count Highlander II because it was stopped so close to the start; just about when Sean Connery appeared. Yeah; a real bomb.....

Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but the biggest letdown in some time.
I got the the video store to rent '30 days of night' and thought
'Hm there is a sequel? Let's check.
Vampires looks same on cover.
Rating is 18+..
..Mia Kirshner? - Sold!'

The problems:
Writing.It's like a fanfiction written by a 4year old.

The vampires. Yeah  vampires dress like goths/emos. Sure. What happened to 'It took centuries to make them forget us..' It will take me centuries to forget this costumes.

Kirshner. Y did she have to play Lilith. Srsly Lilith a vampire 'Queen Bee'. It would have been not much worse to let her cosplay Christopher Lee.

Won't make another Double Feature unless on the box is written something like 'Nolan Brothers'.

And 30 days of night was my favorite Vampire movie since John Carpenter's Vampire. (not talking about  the Bon Jovie atrocity).

Alien 3.

Sorry, but that film can burn in hell for its mauling of established characters, horrific acting and some of the worst scriptwriting I've ever seen unfold before my very eyes.

At least Prometheus was slightly better. Slightly.

C'mon you asked for this. What did you expect. There was ABBA written all over the poster. And it has the Streep in it. And don't pretend you are forced. We already know that Termokanden was watching Twilight willingly =].

If you rent a game where I did, you get a free $1 movie. That was the movie, and I got exactly what I paid for. ABBA isn't the problem, the music's great. But as a film itself, any modicum of immersion is unabashedly thrown out the window. At least with your Phantom of the Operas and Music Mans, it's a bit easier to absorb. But Mamma mia is...

The first rule of mamma mia is we don't talk about mamma mia. And no, I wasn't forced. I tried to give it a shot.
