whenever i make certain characters, there are powers that i usually ignore completely. i usually ignore powers like carnage on a kroguard, blade armor on batarians, and incinerate....on most things....

oh yea...i never use tactical scan. some people love it, but i rarely even see them quarians using it

are there any worthless powers you think deserve a buff?

most commons powers skip seem to be blade armor and sticky grenades at first glance.

surprisingly, alot of people skip fitness. it's only useful for characters who are taking machinegun fire. a person with maxed fitness will die in the same number of shots from an atlas as a character with no fitness...would adding an extra gate into fitness seem like too big of a buff? this would help fitness as well with less bosses social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/343/index/12810794

the change in troop numbers in the above link would help buff pull as well. right now it's worthless against the army of ravagers, brutes, banshees

no fitness? are you serious? passive powers are usually my main focus

actually i can see why. it is only good for the shield gate....my extra shields are worthless. i would die in the same number of shots

Generally the only power I completely skip is Carnage on my kroguard. Only things I really care to shoot are guardians and non-phantoms with sync kills (phantoms, at least on bronze where I normally play kroguard, generally don't survive the biotic charge->heavy melee combo).

Blade Armor is the only one that I can think of. I find a use for nearly ever power I have at my disposal in a match.

Thet depends entirely on the character. I avoid evolutions I know are bugged, I avoid evolutions that require me to play with something bugged. I even avoid entire classes that are bugged.

Fitness (almost) never goes beyond 3. Even in the rare exception it stops at 4 for just a slight bonus to shields & health. Cover is all around giving free durability, plus Survival Packs.

Maxing all but one power (which will be at 5) is more useful.

I completely ignore Blade Armor on the Batarian though since that 60% cooldown hit is huge, and it takes a LOT of points to get it to 30%.

Incinerate on salarian engineer, for one.

I have ignored shockwave in the past, but might rethink my specs this time around with the buff.

I don't really like to skip anything - maybe just a playstyle thing, but I like having three powers to choose from during a match, even if one is only at rank 3.
I'm not sharp enough in every game to play a build with 0 fitness, and I like the small melee, health and shield boosts.

The only few characters I can think of where I would ignore one power completely is the turian soldier (concussive shot), the kroguard (carnage), novaguard (shockwave). Mind you I don't like playing any of those anyway, apart from maybe the kroguard.

I don't spec into singularity for both the normal human adept and the phoenix adept, also I usually don't spec carnage on any of my classes.

Incenerate, Cryo Blast, Blade armor, Carnage, (others I'm sure), and sometimes Fitness depending on what the class has for other abilities.

Tactical Scan is amazing.

It's great against Phantoms, the area scan on rank 6 really helps with getting around the map, helps organise coordinated fire against a single key target, can be used to point out threats allies can't see and gives a nice damage boost for everyone. It's a team ability and I'm always sad when I see MQs that don't use it.

Usually the weakest power or non grenade power on a soldier or sentinel. I'm just gonna be spamming bullets so why spec it?

nothing i have just these three powers right?

so for me...it doesn't feel right to ignore one even if i can do bettwer without it (its the case on my phoenix adept's 3/6/6/5/6 build)

usually fitness is useless so i ignore it

oooooh boy! tiny bit more shields and health? oh Wow! so on gold ill last for like, 0.5 seconds longer when being hit by something?

I rarely die anyways, because im always eliminating enemies first, or positioning myself out of their sight lines while reloading.

Prox mine with the %damage increase to affected target(s) for X seconds is extremely useful
Throw a prox mine at an atlas and watch as it drops super quick

Basically it puts a debuff on the mob that lasts for X seconds, so any damage inflicted on them during this time is amplified.

Its the same as a defense debuff in MMOs

I play as the pheonix and human vanguards, and ONLY with friends. I use shield boosting/recharging mods so shield stays up more than usuall, giving me less instances where charging is needed, and I only charge if I'm in a pinch for shields.

Hunter Mode/Vision, whatever it's called. That thing gives me a head ache. Also Blade Armor on the Sentinel.
