Two small things that I felt could have been improved

So, I'm finally making my way through the game again and this time on Insanity (For once, I don't feel OP playing a Vanguard. This is painful...) and there were always two things that could have been improved a bit, even if they were small things.

My first one...

THE NIGHTMARES

Through out the game, Shepard is constantly hounded by nightmares of the small child that died on Earth, meant to represent the thousands dead on Earth from the invasion (Art Book even states this). But, What about the other characters that have died LONG before this game? Why aren't we being hounded by guilt over them?

I just can't take the Nightmares seriously when Shepard is meant to be feeling guilty over the many that died when there's no emotional attachment to the small child. Sure, Shepard has probably been watching that kid for the last 6 months, but we the player haven't.

During a few of these nightmares, The Virmire Sacrafice can be heard telling you to go back and get the VS and I believe I heard Legion at one point. Why can't we see them in the nightmare too? The Council we might have let die in ME1. The squadmate we had to leave behind on Virmire and the one we might have had to kill? Anyone who died in the Suicide Mission? Even as the game progresses, There could still be more added to the Nightmare, as Legion and Thane die no matter what you do, and for quite a few of us, Mordin dies.

Would have been actually see the guilt of Deaths we could have prevented, once again placing the player in Shepard's Shoes. Hell, would have sent the message in that last nightmare with all the previous ones showing everyone else burning...And forshadowing that you'll burn(Destroy - High EMS)/die(All other endings) with them.

The second one is...

THE MEMORIAL WALL

I always went about the ship after evey mission, every stop to the Citadel, to make sure I caught all Squad dialogue and I always would take a moment to look at the Memorial Wall and try to pick out names that I recognized. Several of them sounded familear to me. Talitha Draven? Was she that girl I talked down from suicide on the Citadel back in ME1? Wasn't Jenkins that guy who died only a few mins into Eden Prime?

I think it would have been great to be able to interact with the wall and read a small blurb about each name. I felt sort of bad I couldn't remember half of them.
