I do associate some with specific friends of mine, especially if they don't change their avatars much.  I haven't ever associated them with the game characters though.  I used to change mine a bit, but I pretty much stick with this one now, and ppl seem to know me by this avatar now.

I have never myself recalled having argument with Miranda ones, I probably have but forgot about them. I also do not see many use her avatar though I see many with avatars of her butt. One I always seem to argue with most is people who use Asari and Liara avatar. Always with ones argue with which tend to have picked Asari seem to replicate the attitude of the race in game attributes being condescending, confrontational and superiority complexes of which i also attribute to the race in the game personally.

This sometimes causes less tolerance with people using that avatar than I should be with them and is not being fair on them. Chicken avatars always tend to be more often than not people who enjoy baiting and trolling but is also not fair to judge everyone who uses that avatar with that reputation. It's all just first impression type stuff, more people with same avatar that argue with you tend to get negative connotations with those who use it. Just human condition, bitten by spider might become afriad of handling any of then, fall from tree might fear heights and argue with a lot of people with certain avatar might begin to assume as jerks when see the avatar.

I don't know what you mean. The asari seemed no worse off than the other species whose planets were invaded by the Reapers. Superiority is one thing, overwhelming odds is quite another.

Sometimes I also like to imagine the person in real life being just like the avatar, that's why I always giggle when I see the chicken avatars

Only dwarves without caste (Casteless) have brands. Dwarves in the lower classes (servants and such) do not.

Now this thread is interesting!

Personal experience is that people with Hackett tend to be quite upfront with what they think and got no problem stepping on people. People with MLP avatars tend to amuse me more than others and most of the time they also are quite smart.

Funny how you guys mentioned there being a connection between custom avatars and bans. I've walked so many people through the process of uploading one and been banned so many times that I've lost count of both.
Anyway, I try not to judge people by their avatars, but I just can't stand those moving avatars! What an obnoxious way to draw undeserved attention to yourself!

If I knew who that was, I'd agree. If I saw your avatar character elsewhere, I'd think of you. Just like if I saw that Speed Racer screaming tantrum kid, I'd think of Dragoonlordz. And if I saw that red-haired dude with the afro and goatee, I'd think of The Minority. Anyone who has an avatar that is from a show/game/movie that I'm unfamiliar with, if I then see that show/game/film elsewhere, I'll think of that person.
