I assume my avatar makes people want to throw a ball around and hang out on roofs.

It also makes me what to say "Oh hai" to everyone I come across.

Neutral. I've never seen much troubled started by someone with a Tali avatar. People with a Cailan avatar and any Dragon Age Legend avatar are normally trouble makers. People with GIF avatars are strange. People with Samara avatars are big trouble makers even more so than those with Cailan or DA legend avatars.

Worst of all though are the ones with the Volus avatars. Avoid these people at all costs...

Since I joined I had Estelle as my avatar, I recently changed it to my main shep, but a few people said I am iconic with the Estelle icon, so I changed it back to Estelle, but used a diff picture of her, so I can still have that OG ness but change it up a bit.

My personal views:

Possible Trolls.

Either the thread has ended, or a pony post. (That was a joke.)

As far as custom avatars, there's too many to count. None of the other general avatars really ring any bells in my head. It typically depends on the person.

I instinctively cringe when I see an Avina Mira avatar because it makes me think of Saphra Deeden.

Hey! Saphra Deden was a good and smart person! He knew what he was talking about and he set the record straight with many naive paragons.

To bad he left the forum once ME3 was released and he decided that he didn't want to be part of it anymore.

Well, it wasn't his fault you couldn't acknowledge Saphra's greatness.

Saphra made a lot of sense half the time, and was utterly crazy the other half. A true product of BSN if there ever was one.

Go with the tiger avatar. It's the only feline option.

100% serious. He put those smug little paragons back in their rightful place. He was a valuable member of the brotherhood.

Since you've obviously been here before then, if you don't mind me asking, what was your old profile?

I didn't have one. I was simply a lurker back then. I'm just a friend of Seboist and Saphra.

Oh, okay. I knew that some people have had to move to new profiles in order to register ME3, and I thought you might have been one of them.

Nope. I didn't feel like posting before. But the extremely poor quality of Mass Effect 3 made me decide to actually get on here and share my opinion about ME3. Not that anyone seems to care though.

The thing that strikes me most about the avatars is when you see, say, three people in a row in a thread with the chicken avatar, and I think "why are they spamming their own thread" before realising it's two or three different users.

My problem with this "you have to choose one of the avatars we provide" thing. <_<

Sandal avatar makes makes me think of Turnip Root no matter what.
Doesn't help that the only time I've seen it has been Turnip Root and his alts.

I always seem to associate Warhammer and other avatars with "outsiders" who have given up on Bioware.

If I see one of those rare people with a Jade Empire or NWN avatar (besides the chicken), I find that often times I'll listen to them more often simply because the implication is that they've been around for quite a while, often going back to the BioBoards days.

Good to know. I'll be changing my hanar to a Jade Empire avatar right away. ;)

And I know what you mean with Warhammer avatars. Especially those with Orc or Goblin avatars are often people who no longer respect BioWare. My friend Seboist is a good example, isn't that right Seb? ;)
