Hi there.
I just stumbled upon the release of the new endings. Funny thing i totaly forgot about ME 3 so far.
I will go and try out the edited stuff with my save games and see if it got any better at all. But since i am only pissed off because you just made 1 ending in 3 colors without givin any details about the story at all it can only be good (aka better).
I won´t get into any spoiler stuff here and post again when i am finished.
After that i will search for the apology thread from you guys for beeing so damn lazy in the first attemt

Well, hahaha, took me long enough now to finish it, did it not xD
So here is the very late review of my 2 cents noone cares about:
- I liked the story and did not need the catalyst to repeat and say everything out, got it the first time but hey more talkoptions are better (in a way).
- adding new vids and conversations on the way to the end was also very welcome, same goes for clearing up some questions e.g. about the fleet
- giveing some smaller insight on other planets and some of the crew was nice but that is a point i missed the first time and still miss (would have liked to know more about the outcomes for everybody in every solution and depending on playstyle)
- a 4th ending ... ok nice
- now for the "real" ending (you know the vids in the end not the hours gameplay before?). That part totaly sucked ************ and showed how less you cared by makeing 1 vid and coloring it up 3 times. Now we have 2 vids and the one from before still comes in 3 colors ..... Yeah you added some pictures but they are also just colored over 3 times ....

Aftermath: I get the feeling you just made it in a way that ppl who did not get or care for the story at all get the chance to get the ending (not much to not get the first time ...). And you still did not do the ending right

Personal aftermath: I think i understand now, why i liked the original ending (expect your lazy way of doing the final part) while a loud group did not.

So all in all for me some nice more content (if rely not much) but no solution to do better in the ending. And the mentioned apology was not found anywhere ... But seeing that you did not do the work of makeing more then 4 endings with 3 beeing the same in different colors, even in the second try. I just guess that you do not care at all.

Jay and thumbs up for the writers, Boooh for the Devs. Not going to buy from you guys anything ever again.

What you do with your money is your own business. Personally, I was impressed that Bioware spent time and money to give fans a more complete ending. They spent that money knowing it wouldn't make them a cent. They knew that the only people complaining about the ending are people that have already bought the game. So this extended cut was not going to magically move more units off the shelves. But they did it.

So before you wave your torch at them, remember that they did this for the fans, not for their bottom line.
