That would've been pretty awesome, actually.

But I found the fact that the first time Garrus says "I love you" is supposedly the last time he ever sees her again so much more heart-wrenching then Tali's.

And I get that you two, I really do. I just guess I wish that "I love you" was sandwiched in w something more personalized than Shelard's seemig cut&paste dialogue

Now that you mention it, something like "I don't want you up in that bar without me, Shepard!" would be nice. Still like the current one though.

It is because Tali is the most emotional character in the game so her goodbye is going to have the best emotion. Also she is my canon LI so I am a bit bias on the matter. Yet I can't stop feeling this overwhelming need to cry because of that scene.

"I love you" might be generic, but it was all in the delivery. The way Hale and Keener's voices cracked was just... ugh, so many feels, man ;_;

I'm fine with cut and paste dialogue if it doesn't sound the same for each one, anyway.

Ash's made me tear up a bit.

Truth is, I've seen a few of them and they're all so wonderfully done, unique, and perfectly suited to each character, that you're going to think your canon LI's is the best.
And that just means the writers did a good job.

I guess I should've clarified btw for he people saying, "Subjective". Tali's has unique Shep and Tali dialogue that is personalized to their characters and their relationships. So while it is nice to hear Garrus say "I love you" for the first time, it should've come w a "don't you dare go to that bar in heaven without me".

Tali's goodbye does have a personal line like that though, hence why I view it as the best.

You are correct. We are all bias towards our favorite LI and whatever they say will be cool.

Liara's whisper ( I am yours) is the best line in the trilogy for me

She does a fantastic job in the scene where she kills Legion, too; YouTube it if you haven't before.
