Tali was my LI on the first EC run I did. Yet I didn't take her for that final mish. I took Javik and James. Javik was the one who got hurt bad. He practically begs to stay and fight, not wanting to miss out on this "final battle" with the Reapers. But he seemed honestly shocked Shepard wanted him to live.

Because it's not the best? I saw it on youtube and I found hers very poor. If I had to rate them it would be.
1:Liara
2:Kaidan
3:Garrus(and I don't even romance him)
4:Ash
5;Tali

Also Liara's was nowhere even close to being generi as she does not say I love as she has said it twice already in the game, third time would have lost it's charm.

I've seen Garrus's and Ash's goodbyes, and I liked them both, but they were similar. Kaidan is up next. Going to have to romance everybody now just to see them all. That actually makes me happy- another reason to play through again and again.

Tali's goodbye is the only one that isn't a gushy "I wuv u wiv all my <3" scene.

Imho that's why it's better.

Ash protests you ordering her to evac by saying "With all due respect..." which I thought was a kinda funny reference to her famous line from virmire. I was sort of expecting a "...kiss my ass" from either her or shepard, but it wouldn't really fit with the moment.

...anyone notice how the beam run evacuees go from horribly wounded to 100% fine by the time the ship lands on Gilligan's planet? Doctor Chakwas is on the ball!

Can't really pick a favourite one, Ashley's stood out to me: something about how Kimberly Brooks delivered it.

Could you imagine being Tali's VA and getting called back in months later to do a couple lines of dialogue, and it's THESE lines? And somehow, she does more than nail it.

Reminds me of the LotR story, when Sam and Frodo showed up for the first day of shooting for the trilogy....

....and it was the exploding Mt. Doom scene.
