You are meta gaming and leaving yourself dissatisfied as a result. If you just play your game with your LI and they give you their message, why do you care what the other LI's say?

That's because different writers penned the other romance arcs, and Patrick Weekes rules. No offense to the other writers, but I think Weekes takes the cake out of all of them. It was already mentioned, but Shepard DOES say it in the London FOB goodbye dialogue. Very cleverly done and much less blunt force than the others, part of the reason I prefer his style.

A lot of people think Shepard is being "cold" or "uncaring" because he never says those three words, but if you absolutely need someone to physically say "I love you" in order to solidify things (in a form of media like a movie or game), I can't help you.

Yes, agree with this. A combination of brilliant writing and performing says everything that needs saying there and it all hits me right in the heart.

This is subjective. I actually liked Ash's and Kaidan's better than Tali's. I liked Liara's the least, but then there are people out there that love Liara's.

I don't find any of them particularly bad though.

No one is going to consider Talis the best unless Tali is your LI. The whole 'build a home' thing with Tali is between her and Shepard when she is the LI. Why the hell would anyone not in a relationship with Tali care about her home on Rannoch? If your LI is Liara the last thing you care about is what where Tali is going to live when it's all over, surely?

Doesn't really work like that: Both because I romanced different characters on different playthroughs and because it is entirely possible to see a relationship between two other people and realize that you don't have the same thing. Yes, it's meta-gaming, but that's not a bad thing. I was never just going to play through a game with so many variables one time, then put it down and never touch it again. So on subsequent playthroughs I can see what I missed out on, or see what I preferred in my original playthrough.

E.G. I prefer Wreav over Wrex, but I wouldn't have known that without a second playthrough, since Wrex was alive in my first.

i couldnt hear some of the dialogue with liara as LI but watching this video i could. ingame it was way too low to hear, and i dont play with subtitles. playing on pc with realtek onboard sound, anyone else have this problem?

Personally I prefer Liara's goodbye, but that is probably due to the fact that she was my LI for all of the games and my favorite character next to Garrus. From what I can tell, peoples' favorite romance goodbyes are based off of their love interests, as they provide the most meaning for that individual.

I could hear what Tali said but Shepard wasn't particularly clear.

I don't like that the evac scene was forced to all characters, i feel it just doesn't fit with all of them, especially the puss-in-boots look and the extended arm. EDI's creepy!
Kaidan was my FemShep's LI, and I think it's ghastly, it ruins the impact of the original goodbye scene.

I could only picture some characters doing that scene, and that would include Liara and Tali, but the others, not so much.

Loved Liara's. That instantly became my favorite scene of the series. I didn't know a VO actress could say so much in two words. I never saw it coming.
