have you ever noticed that the ppl setting up these "nerf" posts prob upset they prob didn't se tup their char right OR just wanted to be a killing machine not the smasher.. SMASH is VERY well balanced it's powerful yes... but it's radius NOT range and the delay is quite... painful if you do it wrong so you only seeing PROs and thinking OMG nerfy it it bad.... that's wrong

TC dmg was TOO high hell the cloak duration might have been steep for the auto start I gladly live with minimal 6 seconds and 12 second max duration "I can live with it currently but it's hard to live" once my cloak gives out 1 sec after deactivation of my objective I don't mind it TOO badly I been around a long time but other players are suffering from the cloaks duration issue being a tad too short on the max atm IDC about the minimal that's power shot build offensive but a longer duration needs to be establish raise it by 155% not 150% would be the most promising idea

again Smash is good not Over Power you're just not seeing the eyes of a team player of the "love of how he helps you so much" congrats him FOR knowing how to play a Smasher don't complain clap.... not enough praise for ppl that know what they're doing just like me and any of my pals or soon to be pals

As powerful as he is, there are limitations and he might not be on par with certain infiltrators. And hell, smash going through wall is where the fun at, tho I have to disagree with people saying he doesnt work on big maps, in fact, every map has tall covers you can utilize.

True, you can make Smass work on every map, but some are ... lets say less ideal or harder. Condor/Hydra are maps I dont enjoy playing my Smashguard much on.

thats when i like to use lash xD btw my vangaurd uses lash/biotic charge for big maps my adpet uses smash/lash for smaller or sorta big maps cause singualrity jsut wasn't going to cut it for me honestly I'm better at lashing them all over using the rag doll power

Smash spam is good when I play as my DA.
That's the point, smash without anyone to constantly prime targets for BE is far from OP.

Next DLC, Bioware should introduce the spitball Sniper rifle:
Weight: Not much - it fires spit balls
Damage: 1 point, 2 for a headshot.
DOT: 1 HP/10 mins Effect lasts for 5 hours, doesn't stack either
ROF: 1shot/minute - gotta tear the paper, and roll the spitballs yourself, takes time.
Capacity: 1
Accuracy: 50%


For some perhaps a little OP, what with the DOT and all, but still, games shouldn't be over too quick, I'd imagine. With such a fine weapon.

Smash an ability that has practically no distance or radius but does massive damage against most enemies.

it's a high risk high reward ability. No alteration needed.

People would just start meleeing. They clearly need to nerf melee's too. They're OP, I saw a soldier curb stomb a husk with it once. Ridiculous.

Lol and here it is... Ive been waiting for a nerf smash thread since the day pheonixs characters were introduced. I didnt think that it would take this long though, wonder what made op finally be pushed over the edge and post this.Maybe they got out scored on their FBWGG farming by the pheonix smashing through the walls.

Regardless BW better leave this power alone. PV is the only character im thoroughly enjoying these days. The character is so much fun, and one of the few classes that actually take some smarts to play. Its not all smash behind walls.

So all in all DONT TOUCH THE POWER BW!!! THATS A BAD BW!!!!

Next DLC Attack of the Nerfs: - Featuring

Six new characters, Mr. Usless, Mr. Runaway, Miss "cry like a ....", Miss Handbag, Mr. papercut and Miss "oh no I'm dead".Heath none, Shields / armour -50, powers: drop dead if looked at wrong, Cry like a little school girl (no offence intended to any female players), whimpy melee attack.

new enemy character Maruder Shield, shoots through walls with explosive bullets, Player seeking missiles, can only be damaged by Single-player commander Shepard's (not available in this DLC as too Over Powered for Multiplayer)

Two new maps, Firebase No Cover at all (wide open plain) and Firebase Graveyard (your be dead within 2 seconds of landing)

New weapons: Water pistol (0 damage), Teddy bear (to hide behind), Nerf-9000 BFG (reduces squadmates powers and weapons by 200%)

It is not like one can use it at 100 meters or so, it is a very limited range.

I can understand that if you see a skilled player on Bronze Smashing an Atlas in 3 hits, that you think this is overpowered.

But maybe if you would stop playing a Claymore/Javelin wielding Human Shockwave Vanguard, you'd realize there is more to it than meets the eye!

Is Princess Rolf one of these Sniper-types, hates the ground being shock up by smash, biotic explosions etc. because it put their aim off. Would the little princess perfer the nasty space monsters over run the team becase Mr. PA and PV smash wont go through the walls and when they jumped out in the open to use it got a missile in the face and is now bleeding on the ground?

If I'm using PA or PV, I try and keep smash use down to allow the other players to take sniper shots, use their abilities etc. If howerver the baddies are knocking on the frontdoor then its Smash-time! Love the whole raining enemies part.
